Title: Free Energy: What To Make Of HopeGirl?

Now making the rounds on the fringe internet: supposedly complete plans for a free energy gadget.

My first reaction is that I wish I could grab these people by the throat and demand, "do you understand the difference between real and apparent electrical power?"

Still, hope springs eternal. The fact that she sometimes wears a homemade tinfoil hat doesn't help matters. I swear if I ever find such a device, I'll only deal with DC in and DC out.

From her site (http://hopegirl2012.wordpress.com/2014/03/25/qeg-open-sourced/):

The Fix the World Organization has reproduced Teslas design with a few modern twists to generate the same results.   Our Quantum Energy Generator (QEG) provides 10KW of power output for less than 1KW input, which it supplies to itself.

We have freely given this technology to the people of the world.  We've open sourced a full set of instructions, user manual, schematics and parts list for any engineer to follow and reproduce the same results.

Sounds good.

Now, if we knew of "any engineer" to verify any of this.    :P
