SAVANNAH RIVER, SOUTH CAROLINA (INTELLIHUB) — A drill intended to gauge the reaction time of first responders in the case of a nuclear event was actually responsible for creating a radiological release at a nuclear site this Wednesday morning.  The Savannah River Site, which runs along the border between Georgia and South Carolina, was the scene of the exercise where the accident occurred.

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions spokesperson Barbara Smoak said in a press conference this week, that a delivery driver was injured during an accident which is said to have caused the release of radioactivity.

"The injured was a delivery truck driver, and that driver was taken to the hospital. We don't know the extent of the injury," Smoak told reporters. "At this time, Highway 125 is closed, the barricades are closed to incoming and outgoing traffic, and employees are to remain indoors at this time."

Since the press conference, the roads have been opened up, but there has still be no official explanation as to exactly why a delivery driver is in the hospital and why there was a radioactive leak on the site.

Representatives from government agencies, including the Department of Energy, claimed in a press conference that the radiation was contained within the nuclear site, and that the general public has nothing to worry about. However, these claims have not yet been confirmed by independent researchers in the area.

When interviewed, many representatives failed to address the specifics of the radioactive release or the delivery driver, but instead focused on the trivial aspects of the drill.

"I think, overall, the drill went well, and we did well in several areas. But every time, we find areas we did great in and places we need improvement," Spokesperson Jim Giusti said. "So we try to improve all areas to ensure that we can secure the Site and surrounding community in the case of any incident.", according to the Aiken Standard.

Large government emergency drills cause more harm than good by creating dangerous situations that are capable of taking on a life of their own.  Not only that, but these drills also act as training sessions for corrupt government agencies.  In many cases, emergency drills can even be used to launch false flag terrorist attacks.

Now how does an accident with a worker driving and a radioactive release relate?  It seems every time we have a drill something happens.
