GM foods not served in Monsanto cafeteria

QuoteThe fight to ban genetically modified foods has won more converts — some employees of Monsanto the company that is doing the most to promote GM products.
The Independent newspaper reports that there is a notice in the cafeteria of the Monsanto pharmaceutical factory is High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, advising customers "as far as practicable, GM soya and maize (has been removed) from all food products served in our restaurant. We have taken the steps to ensure that you, the customer, can feel confident in the food we serve."
The notice was posted by the Sutcliffe Catering Group.
Monsanto confirms the authenticity of the notice, but company spokesman Tony Coombes says the only reason for the GM-free foods is because the company "believes in choice." Coombes says in other Monsanto locations employees are happy to eat GM foods because they are "sprayed with fewer chemicals."
Adrian Bebb with Friends of the Earth says the notice in the Buckinghamshire plant is hard to misinterpret. "The public has made its concerns about GM ingredients very clear – now it appears that even Monsanto's own catering firm has no confidence in this new technology."

Yeh right! Only Monsanto Employee's are allowed 'choice'! >:(
The rest of us have to eat it, whether we like it or not!
I recently watched an interesting documentary on Russia Today about MONSANTO and the effect there seeds have had on farmers in the USA. all i can say is WOW just how are they even allowed to do all what they do?
If ONE seed shows up in any of the farmers crop that is a GM Monsanto plant among thousands of non GM plants Monsanto can claim ownership of ALL of the farmers crop!
And since the GM seeds are supposed to be just a one crop wonder the farmer (if he chooses to go GM) has to buy more seed off Monsanto as it wont self seed. and how cross pollination can even cause a GM plant to contaminate an organic crop this can be taken by Monsanto too!
Then there is the problem of these GM crops being resistant to all pesticides such as round-up (owned by Monsanto somewhere down the line i think) so killing the plant with selective plant/weed killers is a huge problem.
And did i hear it correct where F.E.M.A have recently appointed an ex director from Monsanto to head part of the organisation?
I now see why the word Monsanto courses so much outrage in the US as we rarely hear of them in the UK media,BUT WE SHOULD.

I'll give You some clues... Five letters, first letter is "M." (Last letter is "Y.")

Rather disgusting, eh? Monsanto "owns" whatever the pollen-filled wind touches. Lovely.

We have to get rid of the need for M---Y!

And Round-Up residue kills gut flora - and it is not just on the surface. It gets into the grains themselves. Wonder if that is responsible for the up-rise of ulcers (does Monsanto make antacids?)...

Would not surprise Me at all.

Indeed, the whole planet should!
