Did NASA Capture An Alien And Its Shadow On The Moon?
A shadowy figure was spotted on the moon's surface last month, and since then it has grabbed the attention -- and the extremely wild imagination -- of the Internet.

YouTube user Wowforreeel first started investigating the figure using Google Moon, a collection of millions of NASA images made public, according to KGW. On its face, the "figure" looks like a shadow created by any number of geological formations on the moon's surface.
But as these things go, the Internet is pointing to aliens and an ancient statue from Greece as the true subjects of the photos. The Examiner even urges its readers to set aside all logic before examining the mysterious shape:

2 questions, How big is it and why no trail of foot prints. Hey our guys made a big mess of that soft surface. Here there is none. Hummm?
Just seen all the stories for this. First thing I noticed is that the rest of the shadows in the image are going the opposite direction. So I believe that the "man" is the shadow and the "shadow" is the object.
Even so the scale of this "man" would be huge even if it was one.
I think we've just got another spire.
Correct me if I am wrong but Im sure ive seen this image before, I don't think its a new find.
Do we know the loction so we can get more images of the area?

It's not new, I saw this some years ago, that's one of the reasons I haven't commented on it yet.
I will look for more information. :)
I knew I had seen that one before, it was posted on another forum (http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread601489/pg1) in August 2010. Looking at the above thread it looks like something on the camera or the scanner that was used to digitise the photos, as it appears in several photos, in the same position on the frame but in different positions on the Moon.
