QuoteSome photos with no backstory are making the rounds, showing what appears to be an Indianapolis police sniper checking out his post in the rafters of Lucas Oil Stadium in the hours or days before the Super Bowl, a post that would be manned when the game began. Yes, we know there's nothing surprising about trained marksmen working the biggest sporting event of the year. We also know it's pretty damn cool to see what the Super Bowl snipers are working with.

It's standard operating procedure to have an invisible law enforcement presence at any high-profile event, let alone one with the attendance and attention the Super Bowl receives. And remember, there are all kinds of politicians and other assorted rich people around. You never know what could happen, though the imagination conjures up increasingly insane and horrifying scenarios, and also the criminally underrated Black Sunday. It's just never a bad idea to have a sniper rifle around.

It's no secret that the Super Bowl is staffed by sharpshooters. "We've got a lot of places for snipers in here," Jerry Jones enthused to CNN about Cowboys Stadium before last year's Super Bowl. In 2009, Ashton Kutcher noticed (and filmed) a pair of them across the street.

and without elimination our  choice
and wait till you need to replace one of those long florences..the new bulbs don't fit the old fixturs...
you hafta buy and replace all your fixtures
and then if that isn't enough for them
the mercury in the new bulbs means you can't toss em in regular garbage...
they're probably already writting the law to convict you for not doing THAT right
then when you're a fellon
and then they can trace you according to their  blankey blank laws...

[sigh]  I really do think we need to fix this.  This is not the "land of the free..."  Not that it ever truly was, I suppose, but this is now the land of the nearly completely controlled!

Please spread the word about My petition!  There may still be time to change the tide.  At least I hope so.

Her story reminds me of relatives from Karlsruhe, germany who said they knew folks who were stuck on the east side, and they never saw them again.

Wake up America is a statement too late, and falls on deafened ears.
Deafened by our goverments inability to accomplish anything except to blow stuff up.

Face it folks, we already are a communist country, and a hybrid of socialism and communism is what the POTUS has in store for us. We have been in this state since 2001, when the people were effectively cut off from any hope of advancement in society by the Bush families doctrine, and are now working toward total loss of freedom. We are stagnant in nearly all areas.
I think it's a few years away, but when the balance goes over, hold on, cause we are in for a crappy life, while the fatcats sit on their hills and eat caviar and drink fresh fruit juices.

They learned if they let the economy tank they dont have to do anything to us but let us beg for mercy, when the money runs out....oops, it already did!

Kind of like..shoot yourself in the foot, to save the rest of your body, eh?

In all the time there has been brutal sports like football, never have there been a terrorist act other than drunkeness, players bounty hunting other players and the occassional spuds mckenzy running out on the field naked or something.

Walmart has DHS eyeballin shoppers coming into walmart now as well. Shoppers are evil and they have to be pruned for bad guys cause ya never know about that closet terror shopper comin out of the la la land of the insane shopper misfit family unit.

They weren't kidding when they said it will be like that at bus stations, train stations and . . . . .

Sig Heil!!!!!!

New Obama Executive Order Seizes U.S. Infrastructure and Citizens for Military Preparedness

Brandon Turbeville
Infowars.com
March 18, 2012
In a stunning move, on March 16, 2012, Barack Obama signed an Executive Order stating that the President and his specifically designated Secretaries now have the authority to commandeer all domestic U.S. resources including food and water. The EO also states that the President and his Secretaries have the authority to seize all transportation, energy, and infrastructure inside the United States as well as forcibly induct/draft American citizens into the military. The EO also contains a vague reference in regards to harnessing American citizens to fulfill "labor requirements" for the purposes of national defense.

Let's take a step backin time and rewrite the above paragraph.

In a stunning move, on March 16, 1935, Adolf Hitler signed an Executive Order stating that the Chancellor and his specifically designated Secretaries now have the authority to commandeer all domestic German resources including food and water. Now do we see the significance of this?

]Obama seizes control over all food, farms, livestock, farm equipment, fertilizer and food production across America

QuoteNaturalNews) "We told ya so" just doesn't quite cut it anymore. As the American sheeple slept, selfishly refusing to take a stand against tyranny, the Obama administration has been plotting what can only be called a total government takeover of America.

On March 16, 2012, President Obama issued an executive order entitled, "NATIONAL DEFENSE RESOURCES PREPAREDNESS." (http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/03/16/executive-order...)

This executive order states that the President alone has the authority to take over all resources in the nation (labor, food, industry, etc.) as long as it is done "to promote the national defense" -- a phrase so vague that it could mean practically anything.

QuoteSec. 102.  Policy.  The United States must have an industrial and technological base capable of meeting national defense requirements and capable of contributing to the technological superiority of its national defense equipment in peacetime and in times of national emergency.  The domestic industrial and technological base is the foundation for national defense preparedness.  The authorities provided in the Act shall be used to strengthen this base and to ensure it is capable of responding to the national defense needs of the United States.

So basically all Obama has to do is start another war and the list of Government employees will take one hell of a jump to put it bluntly.

When I first saw this Executuve order, I too was very concerned, because of what I thought I was seeing in what Obama was trying to do. Well, fortunately, for me, that is now not a problem, because of a report I found on the internet. Assuming that it is accurate, I don't think that this doc gives us any more to worry about than what is already "on our political plates".

I am posting this report below for all of you, and hopefully it will help you as it has me.

Obama executive order nothing to storm the castle over

David Martosko is The Daily Caller's executive editor. He is the father of two, a frequent public speaker, and a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Johns Hopkins University.

On Friday President Obama signed an executive order titled "National Defense Resources Preparedness," and by Saturday the conservative Twitterverse had erupted into righteous indignation, organized under the ExecOrder. But the 140-character expressions of outrage and the anti-Obama tea party angst masked the fact that very little in the presidential proclamation is new.

Most of it combines existing executive orders from Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. Those earlier orders refined similar statements from Presidents Harry Truman and Richard Nixon.

And Truman and Nixon, it turns out, were both updating language from President Roosevelt after the passage of the Defense Production Act in 1950.

While Obama's executive order is written in sophisticated legislative verbiage, its aim should be clear to anyone who reads it from front to back as I did. (You're welcome.)

And Microsoft Word has a nifty "compare" feature that combines two documents into a single version with every single difference, no matter how small, spelled out in red. It's a huge time-saver.

So what's new since 1994?

When Bill Clinton issued his version of the plan to prepare the country for some unstated national military emergency, most disaster response functions were assigned to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Today, those functions belong to the Department of Homeland Security, whose sub-agencies include FEMA. Most of the significant changes from Clinton's order to Obama's involve reassigning FEMA's old duties to DHS — which didn't exist when Clinton was president. Obama did this in 10 separate places.

But in large part, the function of this executive order — in all its historical incarnations — is to clearly delineate what each cabinet secretary is responsible for if the country should go kablooey.

Obama also axed the FEMA director's prior role as a tie-breaking vote whenever two cabinet secretaries might disagree about allocating resources in a time of emergency. From now on that decision will land on the president's desk.

After the black eye FEMA got — deserved or not — following Hurricane Katrina, this is at minimum a smart PR move.

Obama also red-lined the Export-Import Bank of the United States from Clinton's order completely. But even that is probably meaningless: The Ex-Im Bank's charter is set to expire this year, but Obama is strongly in favor of its renewal.

Another curious change involves the Department of Agriculture's mandate. New language from Obama includes, for the first time, "livestock resources, veterinary resources, [and] plant health resources."

It also expands the definition of "food resources" to include "potable water packaged in commercially marketable containers." On the other hand, Obama has curiously eliminated tobacco form the list of things the government can — and has been able to since before any of us were born — control if an unfriendly power should ever drop the big one on New York City.

All of this seems completely sensible.

Still, breathless statements flooded Twitter over the weekend, by Sunday reaching a pace of about 20 per minute.

"To Obamabots and other asleep #Americans: Wake the hell up! New Executive Order dated March 16th. Prepare yourselves!" read one.

"Obama's 'Dictator' executive order. Read it & tell me if you REALLY believe Hitler comparisons are legit," said another.

Other tweets warned that Obama aims to "make it easier to push America N2 totalitarianism like China" and had seized "the power to STOP ALL ELECTIONS." One Twitter user said that in the wake of the executive order, "I've decided to buy stock in Guillotine companies."

The most common tweeted phrase about the executive order, by far, was "peacetime martial law."

The narrow span of initial reactions from conservative websites ranged from "stunning" and "harassing"  to "totalitarian" and "the blueprint for Peacetime Martial Law." One typical thread simply declared that the president had "gone too far."

What's maddening about this, aside from the fact that so few commentators, clearly, had actually read the order, is the knee-jerk assumption that Barack Obama is somehow less trustworthy — at the molecular level — with his constitutional powers than was Bill Clinton.

Yes, the Internet has turned political events into tinder with a ferocity Clinton never faced. And yes, the political right harbors an intense distrust of the Oval Office's current occupant.

But the idea that he would, in an election year, suddenly declare himself the singular steward and controller of all private property, or put himself in solitary control of the water supply or reinstitute the draft — all accusations I've read online in the past day — is ludicrous.

If you want to see what any legislative or regulatory language really means, skip over all the nouns (like food, water, fertilizer and fuel) and look at the verbs.

Columnist Ed Morrissey spotted a few in Obama's executive order: "identify," "assess," "prepare," "improve," "foster [cooperation]," "provide." These aren't exactly words that suggest lots of action. I don't see "usurp," "hijack" or "shanghai."

I also don't see anything in the executive order that establishes a new legal authority of any kind. Not only is the language old hat, but it spells out which laws the White House is relying on for its authority.

So this is all pretty thin soup.

If we can't trust the president — any president — to look at what's going on and make his cabinet secretaries play nice, we have bigger problems than who's going to control the next corn crop if Putin starts punching in launch codes instead of his ATM password.

So everyone just chill, okay? It's time to crumple up those tinfoil hats. At least for a week or so.

There is no constitution. I mean it exists as a concept and has adherents, but it's not really something capable of hindering anything, and least of all the kind of person it was meant to hinder.

The State now tortures people. Molests Children and finger bangs old folks at the airport. Assassinates. Grows dope. Smuggles Dope. Violates national sovereignty - to kill people. Tortures children in front of their parents.

Hell, even the Soviets had the goddamn common decency to bring you to a private room before they started torturing you with electricity - here they do it out in the open. And in prewar Germany they were nice enough to say 'please' when asking for your papers then they'd thank you afterwards and apologize for the bother they caused you (and this was the friggin Nazis here). Here they demand the papers and then tazer you if you don't do it fast enough, or for moving too fast (called making a 'furtive movement' and 'reaching', then when they do you in it's, 'he had what looked like a gun'... and then the press release: "the officer acted in accordance with department policy"). They don't even give us a rag and a cell before the torture.

I got my family out of the USA long ago. If any of you can do so, I recommend liquidating your assets and fleeing.

Good advice.  Especially if you may be considered a "terrorist" for ones beliefs and knowledge.

Obviously most americans don't care that the constitution is no longer any value, or they would be listening more to Ron Paul and less to the other warmongering candidates.

Scary to think of Santorum, Romney or Gindrich as president.   Yikes

Not a good idea... check the Fukushima fallout readings first  :o

The first step is awareness... you cannot fight a problem without knowing what the problem is.

Once you are sure of that problem, you CAN do something...  start with petitions, writing letters to senators and congressmen, get your neighbors to do the same.

Vote for Ron Paul is a start, though he may not make it anyway.

At the local level, you can't do much about federal policies.. but most important..

The people that recognize what is happening are all mostly old enough to have lived through it or at least their parents did. So they can recognize the signs.

But look at what is happening with the young kids with the OWS movement... police are ignoring the rights to protest peacefully and using force and arrests

I think right now the best sign that we have that things are not all lost is the fact that Americans have been buying guns at record levels. The sleeping giant is arming up.

Military people are starting to see beyond their orders and seeing the cancer. When a marine gets subjected to the same harassment at the clammy hands of some fat TSA agent, that marine will remember.. and question why he fought for our freedoms to come home to that crap

So information sharing is at the moment our best tool. And petitions DO WORK... but they have to be serious and hammer the point home... emails, snail mail followups... they need to be flooded with letters, not just a few names on a paper

When they wanted to drill for Oil in the Arctic Refuge, our Medieval group was very active in getting support. That drive was done by Biogems and Robert Redford put his name behind it. Congresswoman Shelly Berkly and Senator Harry Reid both of Nevada were behind it I still have the letters...

End result is we stopped the drilling, not once but three times

ATS has the power of numbers to make a real difference, but they don't allow petitions, they don't even allow recruiting a group of friends for an event.  We do here but we are still small

Look where the Occupy wallstreet movement got...where are the sweeping reforms to the banking system? This done on an individual level is not possible. The best we can hope to accomplish on a personal level is understanding of the true definitions of the law. It is your own ignorance of the laws that often leads to being oppressed by the local authorities. Most often times when they are reminded of how the laws really works they tend to back off a bit as they are just following orders the way they have interpreted it. Pick up a Black's Law dictionary and see what definitions like "PERSON" and "UNDERSTAND" really mean according to the law. Check out sites such as this for reference to others and their run in's with oppressive law enforcement:

So how does this story end?  Did the freeman get to drive away?

I agree Sky, most cops would have turned violent and handcuffed the gentleman.  I believe this was a RCMP officer fyi.

The ORI Processing Crusade  >:(

My thoughts are that's it's nothing do to do with the flesh... The war is on the Mind and those that...right now work in that manner have not found a way.

The Ori work work hard....

That is why nothing makes any sense to anyone.    :'(

knowing what you can do and claim only works if you run across a reasonable individual
and there are less of them around any more

Vegas police OK $100k for videographer in beating

QuoteLAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas police money committee has approved a $100,000 settlement for a man who says he was attacked and beaten in his driveway as he videotaped police in his neighborhood.

The department's Committee on Fiscal Affairs signed off Monday on the settlement with Mitchell Crooks, of Las Vegas.

Crooks was taping police as they investigated a burglary report on his cul-de-sac on March 20, 2011. Officer Derek Colling began to drive away from the scene, but stopped his vehicle, shined a light on Crooks and approached him.

Video footage captures Colling telling Crooks to put down the camera. Crooks refuses, telling the officer he's within his legal rights to tape the incident and he's on his own property.

The camera shakes and Crooks is heard howling while an officer is heard yelling at him to stop resisting. According to the federal civil rights lawsuit Crooks filed in November, that's when the officer beat him.

At the end of the four-minute clip posted to YouTube, a voice is heard saying, "When you don't do what I ask you, then you're in a world of hurt."

Crooks was arrested for battery against an officer, trespassing and resisting arrest. The charges were later dropped.

Colling was fired in December after a departmental investigation. In five years as a police officer, he was involved in two fatal shootings that coroner's juries ruled were justified.

Crooks moved to Las Vegas after making headlines in 2002 when he videotaped two Inglewood, Calif., police officers beating a 16-year-old boy.

Yes, Zorgon, we are being beaten about by the establishment, but they cant take what's in our minds....oh wait, yes they can....UGH!:o
Im a staunch supporter of law enforcement, but when bad seeds are planted, something bad is sure to grow from it!
Here, in Largo, we have a unique setup, whereas the new rookies are immediately inducted by older officers upon arrival to the force, and we turn out some of the best trained cops in the world as a result.
Level headed guys and gals with scruples and respect for their fellow citizen are what we get, it's really an effective solution to just training them and sticking them in some big evil city.
Our cops have personality, too, and youll see them right with the regular guys at the islands, or ballpark, having fun lke normal people...something most cops dont even think about after the mental F...ing they get from their work environs.
The stress is what gets em, and usually it's one event away from firing for cops, so they arent as heavy handed as they used to be.

We MUST be aware of who and what tries to control us, so we know who and what our enemies are when the s&#t hits the fan. Thanks, Zorgon for the post, and its a wake up call for those who think they can antagonize someone(cops) who are one step away from death every day, and a wake up call for those cops who dont understand that they are one of us, not an enemy.
I am always wary of the police when they are yelling stuff like that guy was, but in the heat of the moment, the weaker minded officers expose themselves at some poor souls expense.
Although, the guy did ask for it, IMHO, he didnt deserve it.

"Paying cash for a cup of coffee"

Misleading title - the document talks about using cash to pay for services at an Internet cafe. Sure you can get coffee there - but even the Infowar writer made the non-logical mistake of "who uses a credit card for a $2 cup of coffee?". Take the entire document in to context, and what is included is in fact pretty good at describing suspicious behavior when it comes to the usage of an Internet Cafe.

Let's not turn this in to FUD.

Internet cafe=shady dealings for shady folks
card or cash at an internet cafe=have your number skimmed or leave with your coffee safe and sound
Any way you look at it, it all goes into the aether, so just dont put it out there, right?
Too easy to say....
