Title: To the bar or the building with bars?
Post by: Wrabbit2000 on October 20, 2014, 06:26:38 PM
The question which forms the title may seem a simple one. Especially when we consider what building isn't a bar, but HAS bars. Err...They do serve drinks at both, kinda, I suppose...but only one has drinks someone would want to buy. This woman was a tad too drunk to know the difference. Sometimes, you have to see it to believe it, to be sure.

QuotePAW PAW, Mich. (AP) -- One is a building with bars. The other is a building with a bar. A very drunk woman apparently had trouble telling them apart and ended up in a southwestern Michigan jail cell.

The Van Buren County sheriff's department says a 39-year-old woman mistook the Van Buren County jail for the bar where she was trying to pick up her boyfriend.

Oh.. That is embarrassing. She had a 0.8 blood level, but she was kind enough to transport herself to jail and even park herself in the lot without hitting anything. That ought to count for something, eh? Of course..we'd have to ignore the fact she thought the place with all the cop cars and bars on the windows was actually the drinking bar kind. (smirk)

I admit, that's a bit hard to do....but she managed!
