Guys, has it really come to this? I don't mean the smirking nature of what happened here in particular, but the fact
Homeland Security Agents are conducting
copyright infringement raids in person. Wasn't this something like a civil matter at one time? Of course... I know.. I see the big "F B I" warning on the front of movies too. I get the legal basis here, but are they so caught up on important work and without anything better to do in a major US city that they need to be out busting shop keepers for home craft items on the counter?
At least they didn't show up in force with long rifles, I suppose. Anyone else recall when the idea of a unified national police was the stuff of bad movies with cheesy plots?
I'd be writing to their Chief and ask whether he can think of anything serious to do like making sure the stocking and suspenders aren't the result of peeping espionage. What a waste of your money. :P
