Title: Nazi
Post by: guerande on December 31, 2014, 05:06:33 PM
A new discovery in Autriche !

"   A SECRET underground complex built by the Nazis towards the end of the Second World War that may have been used for the development of weapons of mass destruction, including a nuclear bomb, has been uncovered in Austria.

The vast facility was discovered last week near the town of St Georgen an der Gusen. It is believed to be connected to the nearby B8 Bergkristall underground factory that produced the Messerschmitt Me 262, the world's first operational jet-powered fighter, that posed a brief threat to allied air forces in the war's closing stages. "

In Sunday Times   28 December 2014

It seem it was an underground center of about 160 acres ,
for nuclear weapons research ...

It's time now to say " Very Good new year to all Peg members ,
I hope you'll  have a very good new 2015 year !  : )
and all the best !

Well now. This does add further credence to the idea that they were further ahead than we have been led to believe.

No need, you can read it all here (http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/vast-secret-nazi-terror-weapons-site-uncovered-in-austria/story-fnb64oi6-1227168312942?nk=4eadd3b6e16b554a6cd68ad14b3f02d2). :)

(Or not, although I had just seen it now it says it's subscription only. ???)

The Daily Mail (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2888975/Vast-underground-complex-Nazis-developed-WMD-discovered-Austria.html) also has that story, I hope the link works.

PS: I have a PDF of the "The Australian" article, that appears to be an exact copy of the original "Sunday Times" article, so if anyone wants it just ask. :)

Information is fleeting at times..

Back in 1965 there was a movie that came out that had a lot of real research in it. It was about the NAZi secret base and the nuclear technology and how close they were to launching a missile to the USA

Operation Crossbow

Allied agents attempt to infiltrate the Nazis' rocket research site. Stars: Sophia Loren, George Peppard, Trevor Howard and other big names

Operation Crossbow

was a true story...

Crossbow was the code name of the World War II campaign of Anglo-American "operations against all phases of the German long-range weapons programme—operations against research and development of the weapons, their manufacture, transportation and their launching sites, and against missiles in flight". The original 1943 code name Bodyline was replaced with Crossbow on November 15, 1943. Post-war, Crossbow operations became known as Operation Crossbow as early as 1962, particularly following the 1965 film of the same name

The heroic tales of World War II are legendary, but Operation Crossbow is a little known story that deserves to join the hall of fame: how the Allies used 3D photos to thwart the Nazis' weapons of mass destruction before they could obliterate Britain.

This film brings together the heroic Spitfire pilots who took the photographs and the brilliant minds of RAF Medmenham that made sense of the jigsaw of clues hidden in the photos. Hitler was pumping a fortune into his new-fangled V weapons in the hope they could win him the war. But Medmenham had a secret weapon of its own, a simple stereoscope which brought to life every contour of the enemy landscape in perfect 3D.

The devil was truly in the detail and, together with extraordinary personal testimonies, the film uses modern computer graphics on the original wartime photographs to show just how the photo interpreters were able to uncover Hitler's nastiest secrets.

V3 "Höllenfeuer" Atomic Rocket

The V3 Atomic Rocket (nicknamed "Höllenfeuer" by the Germans) was the first kind of nuclear weapon to ever be used against an enemy. It had a blast yield of 21 kilotons (equivalent to 75 million sticks of dynamite). It was designed between 1943 and 1947 by the Nazi Secret Sciences Division. This weapon was first used against the U.S. on September 2, 1948 on the city of New York, New York.

This is a false history but I recall the atomic rocket being designated A1  But it was years ago befor the internet and I have to find my old notes,
