The Guy Fawkes mask is a symbol of anonymity. For hacktivists around the world, the smirking mask has become a symbol of empowerment, equality, justice and the promise of change. The mask is an identifier of like-minded people; it stands for justice, integrity and independence.

Anonymous activists say, "The mask is a representation of you, me, everyone, we're equal, I don't have to look at the color of your skin, of the color of your hair, how you are dressed like, I see the mask and everyone becomes equal."

The mask was first used by Anonymous in 2008 at the Project Chanology protest against the Church of Scientology, for forcing YouTube to remove a video of Tom Cruise discussing Scientology that was meant for internal use within the Church. The protesters wore the masks to demonstrate without being harassed.




In 2009, protesters wearing the mask exploded a fake barrel of gunpowder outside Parliament while protesting over the issue of British MPs' expenses. During the 2011 Wisconsin protests, during the subsequent Occupy Wall Street and the ongoing Occupy Movement (http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/v-for-vague-occupy-sydneys-faceless-leaders-20111014-1loy6.html), the mask appeared internationally as a symbol of popular rebellion.

The Huffington Post acknowledged that the Vendetta masks had now become a "symbol of the movement." The masks were used by anti-government protesters in Thailand, in 2012, and Turkey, Brazil and Egypt in 2013.

On November 5, 1605, Guy Fawkes, a 17th-century Roman Catholic terrorist, was captured; Anonymous activists on November 5, 2014, organized the London faction of the Million Mask March outside the Houses of Parliament against corporate greed and government overreach.

Like those PUNKS blocking the highway in Arizona...  Their right to Protest STOPS when they impede MY right of Freedom of Movement guaranteed by the constitution.  How DARE they stop the average citizen? THEY are not the enemy and we have a right to go about our way without morons blocking the road.  They get in my way, they will have tire tracks on their backs :P

Quite frankly I don't get it. You would think ANY conspiracy minded thinker or anti government activist would JUMP on Trump's bandwagon. He is the ONLY one that is scaring the crap out of the other politicians because they are afraid of him... He is so rich they cannot afford to buy him and THAT means they can't control him.

Most people that are anti Trump are only reacting to the fake media BS  I find it sickening that the same people who claim all the news is false flag are believing that same news media when they are attacking Trump.

Go to one of his rallies, actually LISTEN to him.  He is not a racist as the media paint him.

IMO, the fact of those who take on the look of "Anonymous" is/are acting similarly to the KLU Klux Claners - they simple use a smiley face for hiding their face/identity instead of a sheet! And it seems that the smiley faces for some reason are being afforded more credibility/acceptability than do the sheets receive!! I was also wondering "why just attack Trump?" All of them are probably just as crooked and corrupt as the next. Why not expose all of them and also expose the rigged voting. What is their agenda by NOT attacking the others and WHO is deciding what targets to go after? I am not convinced Hillary will get anything more than a stern frowning for anything she has done, and will most likely be the prime pick for the next Cobra Commander...errr President. She'll turn the USA into the Klingon Empire.
