Obama On UFOs: President Tells Jimmy Kimmel 'I Can't Reveal Anything'
You can't blame a guy from trying, over and over again.
On his show Thursday, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel asked President Barack Obama to come clean about UFOs. The president responded with a series of tongue-in-cheek remarks, which can be seen in the video above.
Last year, Kimmel broached the subject with former President Bill Clinton. He posed the topic of supposed UFOs and aliens at Nevada's top secret Area 51 military base in exactly the same way with both presidents.
Kimmel opening statement to Clinton last April:
"If I was president... I'd demand to see all the classified files on the UFOs, because I want to know, I'd want to know what has been going on. DID YOU DO THAT?"
Clinton response: "Sort of."
Kimmel opening statement to Obama on March 12:
"If I was the president... I would immediately race to wherever they have the files about Area 51 and UFOs, and I'd go through everything to find out what happened. DID YOU DO THAT?"
Obama response: "That's why you will not be president, because that's the first thing that you would do."
During this short exchange, Obama fired back with more potentially provocative comments.
"The aliens won't let it happen. You'd reveal all their secrets, and they exercise strict control over us," Obama said. "I can't reveal anything."
When Kimmel pressed Obama, telling him how Clinton claimed to have looked into government files on UFOs and found nothing, Obama replied, "Well, you know, that's what we're instructed to say."
While conspiracy theorists might have a field day with those types of comments, it should be pointed out that, throughout the short minute-and-a-half, UFO-alien-Area 51-related dialogue between Kimmel and Obama, both were smiling and laughing almost the entire time, giving the impression that everything said by the president was strictly humorous.
There have been other times during Obama's presidency where he made bold, UFO-related statements, as seen in the following March 2012 video clip after he had arrived in Roswell, New Mexico, home of the legendary (and still-controversial) UFO crash of 1947:
Is it all just fun and games when America's commander-in-chief is asked questions about UFOs and aliens, or is there more to it that lies under the surface of what appear to be light-hearted comments about unproven extraterrestrial visitors?
"I think it's a difficult situation for a sitting president to be asked that question because if they don't know anything, they come off looking not too smart," said Jan C. Harzan, executive director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's largest civilian UFO research organization, with over 3,000 members, including scientists interested in UFO research.
"If [presidents] do know something that they can't talk about, then they can't really talk about it," Harzan told HuffPost. "Making a joke out of it at least diffuses the situation. Now, that said, I honestly don't think we're ever going to get an admission from a sitting president that the U.S. has any knowledge of UFOs or ETs. I just don't see it happening."
Harzan received a B.S. in nuclear engineering from UCLA and spent nearly 40 years with IBM before assuming the leadership role at MUFON. He told HuffPost he's aware of how discouraging it can be to people in the UFO "community" when the president seems to laugh off the UFO issue.
"The fact that he doesn't just dismiss it out of hand is actually a very positive thing. It's disappointing that he's not taking it more seriously, but I'm not so sure he isn't," Harzan said. "I think he's basically keeping it within the boundaries of what he's able to do, and so, using a little bit of humor helps alleviate some of this tension in the whole thing.
"I would love for the president of the United States to step to a podium and announce [the reality of ETs] to the world, but I don't think it's ever going to happen. I think it'll come about in a much different way, but it will come about."

Quote'Virtually all pilots believe in UFOs': Veteran who flew Obama's campaign plane saw a 'giant red ball' flying through the sky
*Andrew Danziger flew President Obama during 2008 election campaign
*Claims to have seen a UFO on flight between Kansas and Iowa in 1989
*Saw a 'giant red ball' flying parallel to his jet in the sky for 30 seconds
*The aircraft captain revealed that nearly all pilots believe in UFOs
A veteran pilot, who flew President Obama's campaign plane, has revealed that he has seen a UFO flying through the sky.
Andrew Danziger claimed that virtually all airmen believe in unidentified flying objects and that he had his own close encounter in the cockpit between Kansas and Iowa in April 1989.
The aircraft captain said the UFO initially appeared as a white disc before changing into a 'giant red ball.'
The aviator, who has 28 years of cockpit experience, said the alien aircraft glowed bright red for around 30 seconds before disappearing below the clouds, according to the New York Daily News.
Mr Danziger recalled that his plane had left Kansas City International Airport and reached the cruising altitude of 15,000 feet when he first saw a 'white disc' clearly visible through the clouds.
He explained that the Captain of the aircraft, named only as Bruce, also spotted the foreign object that appeared similar to the moon.
Despite, both of the men having a number of years of experience behind them they could not identify the mystery gizmo that was visible for around 40 minutes.
As the pair began their decent into Waterloo, Iowa, Mr Danziger said the UFO suddenly changed colour.

Bingo. Information is power. Denying information is power. Denying an opponent to know what you do and do not know is power. You don't get to be President without knowing how to play the game.
I'm hoping for jimmy carter to spill something before kicking off....
Quote"The aliens won't let it happen. You'd reveal all their secrets, and they exercise strict control over us," Obama said. "I can't reveal anything."
I think this could be the truth, the same that is hinted at in many movies like The Forgotten (2004).
if so we can always hope they have a good agenda, maybe they see a need to change things here and there is a long term plan for the better for the planet, animals and people.
George H W Bush was head of the CIA when Jimmy Carter approached him about the UFO subject; George HW told President Carter " You don't have a high enough security clearance or a need to know, Mr. President."
Plausible denialability; you can't reveal what you don't know, peeps; the POTUS is a temporary position as are the majority of all elected officials...
Bill Clinton told the truth when he stated " There is a government within the government I can't control..."
There will not be any official disclosure; the puppetmasters shan't allow it...

I agree with you Seeker. Most of them not even have a chance to get the access to the "good stuff".
Politicians Talking About UFOs And Aliens:
QuoteBill Clinton
2005 -- Former Pres. Bill Clinton (D), speaking in Hong Kong, discussed UFOs, Roswell and Area 51: "The Roswell thing, I think, really was an illusion - I don't think it happened. I did attempt to find out if there were any secret government documents that reveal things, and if there were, they were concealed from me, too. I wouldn't be the first president that underlings have lied to or that career bureaucrats have waited out. But there may be some career person, sitting around somewhere, hiding these dark secrets, even from elected presidents. But, if so, they successfully eluded me, and I'm almost embarrassed to tell you I did try to find out."
Ronald Reagan
1974 - California Gov. Ronald Reagan (R) was one of four people in a Cessna Citation plane who witnessed an unusual object that was a steady light which elongated and went from a normal cruising speed to a rapid acceleration. Reagan told the Wall Street Journal, "We followed it for several minutes. It was a bright white light, and all of a sudden to our utter amazement, it went straight up into the heavens."
1987 - Pres. Ronald Reagan (R) told the United Nations General Assembly: "In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world."
Jimmy Carter
1969 - Georgia Gov. Jimmy Carter (D) filed an official report in which he claimed to have seen a UFO - a "self-luminous" object "as bright as the moon." Most skeptics and debunkers have maintained that the future president had only misidentified the planet Venus in Leary, Ga.
John F. Kennedy
1963 - Pres. John F. Kennedy (D) sent a memo to the head of the CIA, seeking documents about UFOs, just 10 days before he was
assassinated. In a letter dated Nov. 12, 1963, JFK wanted a review of all UFO intelligence files that might affect national security. On the same day, Kennedy sent a separate memo to NASA, indicating he wanted to cooperate with the then-Soviet Union on outer space activities.
Barry Goldwater
1975 -- Ariz. Sen. Barry Goldwater (R) revealed he had previously attempted to find out what was in the building at Wright-Patterson
Air Force Base in Ohio, where UFO information was allegedly stored.
His request was denied because it was classified above Top Secret. In a 1988 interview with Larry King, Goldwater said he believed secret government UFO investigations were going on.
Fife Symington
1997 -- Ariz. Gov. Fife Symington (R) was one of thousands of eyewitnesses to the historic Phoenix Lights, a mass UFO sighting, which he didn't admit was real until 10 years later, and which he felt was an extraterrestrial vehicle.
Bill Richardson
2004 -- New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson (D), and 2008 presidential candidate, calls on the U.S. government to declassify all Roswell UFO documents. Richardson wrote: "The mystery surrounding this crash has never been adequately explained. Clearly, it would help everyone if the U.S. government disclosed everything it knows. The American people can handle the truth -- no matter how bizarre or mundane."
John Podesta
2007 - Former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta (D) tells a National Press Club press conference about the need for UFO
disclosure: "I think it's time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark and the question of government investigations of UFOs. It's time to find out what the truth really is that's out there. We ought to do it because the American people, quite frankly, can handle the truth."
Dwight Eisenhower
2010 -- NH State Representative Henry W. McElroy (R) records a video on which he claims to have seen a briefing document from the 1950s that described how benevolent aliens were present in the U.S. and that a meeting could be arranged between them and former Pres. Eisenhower.
Gerald Ford
1966 -- Michigan Rep. Gerald Ford (R), before becoming president, called for an official government hearing on the subject of UFOs after his home state experienced a wave of sightings. This was the incident which resulted in the famous use of the phrase "swamp gas" as a possible explanation for UFOs. Ford wrote a letter to the House Armed Services committee that read, in part: "In the firm belief that the American public deserves a better explanation than that thus far given by the Air Force, I strongly recommend that there be a committee investigation of the UFO phenomena. I think we owe it to the people to establish credibility regarding UFOs and to produce the greatest possible enlightenment on this subject."
Richard M. Nixon
1974 -- Pres. Richard Nixon (R) became part of UFO folklore when he allegedly took comedian Jackie Gleason to Homestead Air Force Base in Florida in 1974 and showed him wreckage of a flying saucer as well as the remains of several extraterrestrials. The story was made public by two people: Gleason's wife, Beverly, told Esquire Magazine that her husband had related this tale to her. And Gleason, who was known to have a strong interest in UFOs, reportedly told the story to author Larry Warren, who had been involved in real UFO encounters experienced by many American military personnel at the RAF Bentwaters base in the U.K. in 1980.
Dennis Kucinich
2007 -- Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D) entered the UFO culture during one of the 2007 Democratic presidential debates, by admitting he had seen a UFO. "It was an unidentified flying object, OK? It's like, it's unidentified. I saw something. More people in this country have seen UFOs than I think approve of George Bush's presidency," he said.
Richard B. Russell
1955 -- Georgia Sen. Richard B. Russell Jr. (D), chairman of the Armed Services Committee, was on a trip to Russia, traveling on a train when he and others in his party saw a disc-shaped craft take off near the train tracks. The reports filled out to the U.S. Air Force by Russell and his aides were classified as Top Secret and remained that way until they were eventually released via the Freedom of Information Act.
Harrison Schmitt
1982 -- New Mexico Sen. Harrison Schmitt (R), the Apollo 17 astronaut who was the last man to walk on the moon, was also interested in UFOs. He's quoted saying, "If the government has any information on UFOs, it should be released to the public -- barring anything that might affect national security. We ought to be involved in a search to find out if there's any good evidence that UFOs really are spacecraft that are being piloted by extraterrestrial beings."
Edward Roush
1968 -- Indiana Rep. J. Edward Roush (D), a member of the Science and Astronautics Committee, was the chairman of a UFO symposium in 1968, which included six scientists invited to discuss the various aspects of UFOs. In 1975, Roush told HuffPost's Lee Speigel, "The people want to know what a UFO is, and therefore, any chance that we have to learn, we should take advantage of it. When you tell an American, 'I can't explain it,' he wants to know, 'Why can't you explain it? Why doesn't someone explain it?' And I think that kind of pressure is going to change the view of many government officials and members of Congress in the future."

If he says anything, he'll have an accident. It's very simple. He would also be fully aware of that. He doesn't want to end up as the next Jack Kennedy, so he will do as he is told, how he is told, when he is told.
This is the main reason why it's very difficult to get an accurate picture of what Obama as a president truly stands for; because in reality, he's only allowed to stand for the things that the men behind the curtain say he is. It's easier for a Republican president to be marginally autonomous, simply because a Republican president is generally going to be more in agreement with what the cabal want anyway. Bush followed his orders with enthusiasm.
As is traditional for Democratic presidents, I don't think Barry is quite as happy about being a sockpuppet as W was; but then again, I also know that Alex Jones would say otherwise. The main difference between the GOP and the Democrats, is that the GOP are openly fascist, while the Democrats pretend not to be.
I would never ask him for information about UFOs; but then again, I suspect he also truthfully knows very little, if anything. The president as an autonomous agent, these days probably has around 5% of the power that the American public think he does; and that, of course, is a large part of the problem. American democracy does not genuinely exist.
Obama knows nothing :P He was denied access to Area 51

Interesting. I didn't think there was supposed to be any ET presence at Area 51, but that it was primarily a testing facility for secret/unconventional weapons technology which, while still fairly exciting at times, was still entirely human made.
It never did make much sense to me for there to be anything truly controversial at Groom; apart from anything else, it's too obvious, and the site isn't genuinely remote, either. 134 km is less than two hours' drive from Las Vegas.
The fact that Barry wasn't allowed in, however, does raise some interesting questions about who is genuinely in charge, where the American military are concerned. It obviously isn't him, but that raises the question of who else it is. I'm vaguely familiar with the usual story about how MJ-12 progressively went rogue after Eisenhower; but I'd still always been under the impression that it was the likes of David Rockefeller who were collectively running things. Then again, I know the Bush family have always been very important, as well. Vannevar Bush was an original member of MJ-12, if memory serves.
The implications of the military being out of genuine control are potentially very disturbing.

LOL no one knew about it until Bob Lazar spilled the beans in 1989
Quoteand the site isn't genuinely remote, either. 134 km is less than two hours' drive from Las Vegas.
Back when it was built it was in the middle of nowhere. There is a small restaurant 2 block from me called Gilligan's Retreat. It is a black ops hangout. Not that long ago this was on the outskirts of town LITERALLY When I moved here in 1996 the valley was still almost empty. Back then people didn't SNOOP into military bases. There was no internet no Google Earth
Even the Russian Space Laser site was hidden until I found it and put it on the map in 2006 Yes Google even sent the satellite to get clear images and said so on their forum. My tag is still there.
So your comments are just blowing smoke.
Yes it IS only 125 miles from here BUT it is in the center of the Nellis Bombing range and test center... Just try getting any closer than the warning sign :P

The President is a short term office 4 years usually at best 8 years. Does it make ANY sense to have a new bose every few years? No There has to be someone that stays in control no matter what moron they put as puppet/ WHO? I already told you PAY ATTENTION It is the NAVY... Don't forget that Bob's paycheck was NAVY Don't forget that the NAVY was flying astronauts BEFORE NASA existed Don't forget that the best moon mission was Clementine A NAVY ship and don't forget that according to the constitution the NAVY is the only allowed domestic military unit AF and Army are under the NAVY :P

MJ 12 is still not proven to be as the UFO world says it is :P But when the Challenger investigation took place it was a NAVY guy in charge. I posted names once dang if I can find them right now LOL Maybe that NAVY Cyber spook hanging out here erased them :P
Senior Bush, Reagan Eisenhower Those three were read in to the whole mess. The US Army 'secret' launch site that has been operating since 1954 (long befor NASA) is called the Reagan test site. Uber Skeptic Ignorethefacts father worked DIRECTLY for Reagan on star wars and he tells me he knows three weapons platforms for sure.
Sometimes I wonder why I bother posting my RESEARCH :P

Only in the mind of a conspiracy nuts. From my side of the fence I see the military is doing just fine especially the NAVY Mark my words you will thank them the day the Cabal try to really take over :D
