There was widespread media coverage as forensic teams conducted searches in the building between the end of February 2008 and July 2008.
An initial finding of a fragment of what was believed to be a child's skull was widely publicised, but forensic tests later confirmed that the finding was irrelevant.[5] It later transpired that the forensic team had informed the police prior to the announcement of the discovery of supposed human remains that the item might predate the inquiry timeframe, being from infill from a graveyard or of prehistoric origin.[6] In February 2009 States of Jersey Police sent the fragment to Kew Gardens in the UK for testing. In May 2009 the Kew experts[7] stated that the fragment was a piece of endocarp of Cocos nucifera, thereby confirming that the fragment was a piece of coconut.[8]
By the end of the excavations and investigations at Haut de la Garenne in July 2008,[4] police had sifted over 150 tonnes of earth. 65 human milk teeth were found, coming from between 10 to 65 individuals aged between 6–12 years and generally seeming to have been shed naturally. Discounting a large quantity of animal bones, only three bone fragments (the largest 25 mm = 1 inch long) were identified as possibly human; two of them have been dated to a range from 1470 to 1650 and the other 1650 to 1950.[9]
Change of investigation teamIn September 2008, Detective Superintendent Mick Gradwell of Lancashire Police took over as Senior Investigating Officer in the abuse enquiry.[10] In August 2008 David Warcup, Deputy Chief Constable of Northumbria Police, took over as Deputy Chief Officer of the States of Jersey Police. The new team launched a review of the investigation to date.
In November 2008, the Deputy Chief Officer, David Warcup, expressed "much regret" that misleading information had been released throughout the conduct of the enquiry, although this has been bitterly contested. Warcup stated that there was "no evidence" of any child murders at Haut de la Garenne, although the Sunday Times and other media have pointed out that the original investigation had also made this point, nor was there any indication that bodies may have been destroyed at the property. He said that initial reports of blood spots, secret underground chambers, mysterious pits, and metal restraint shackles, were all innocuous or misidentified.[11]
In March 2008, BBC television personality Jimmy Savile started legal proceedings against The Sun newspaper which had, wrongly he claimed, linked him in several articles to the child abuse scandal at Haut de la Garenne.[12] Savile initially denied visiting Haut de la Garenne, but later admitted that he had done so, following the publication of a photograph showing him at the home surrounded by children (depicted below). The States of Jersey Police said that in 2008 an allegation of an indecent assault by Savile at the home in the 1970s had been investigated, but there had been insufficient evidence to proceed.[14] After his death, hundreds of people from all over the UK came forward to accuse him of past abuse. Several people from Haut de la Garenne also came forward at this time.[15][16]

Also, yes, I've known for years that the majority of politicians in Western countries are paedophiles. That serves two purposes.
a} It provides a form of blackmail by which they can all control each other.

Focusing on that sort of stuff isn't good for your own mental health, kids; although the one up side is that hopefully it will all be exposed, eventually. The other main reason why the central conspiracy has become boring for me at this point, is because it's all repetitive now. Sure. From the perspective of a lot of people on this site, I'm probably exceptionally self-centered, these days. I acknowledge that quite openly, cheerfully, and freely. Two more uses of "I," there.
There are two important things that I've learned, recently.
a} The world does not particularly
want saving; and as a result, your attempts to do so will not be appreciated. The world is the way it is, because that is how the overwhelming majority

They don't want to be actively intelligent, or to have to do anything which remotely inconveniences them in any way. All they want is drama, status seeking, Facebook, Family Guy, sex and violence, and to be protected from the terrorists.
So no. At this point I have absolutely no interest in trying to save the world whatsoever, because the world has made it abundantly clear to me that it does not remotely
want to be saved, either by me or anyone else. While I
will try and benefit specific individuals, I never do so any more without at least implicit consent.
If mainstream society wants to render itself extinct, then as far as I'm concerned at this point, it can go right ahead. If it is true that the royal family are even 10% as monstrous as they are generally depicted on the Internet, then the very fact that they remain out of jail (let alone actually in power) should tell you something.
As another related example, locally the propaganda posters for the coming Anzac Day services next month are going up. April; not a coincidence, since that is Aries' month, which corresponds with war. I could point out to people that war commemoration is essentially a socially sanctioned, national or global expression of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I could point out the fact that as far as actually
preventing war is concerned, commemoration is logically insane. Yet to do so, would probably only expose me to social ostracision at best, and physical violence at worst. The very fact that I have written this here will probably result in a reprimand from one of the veterans here, or maybe even the deletion of this post.
Why?
Because nobody wants to hear it. The veterans and current military
want the civilian population to view them as Gods, and governments
want pretext and justifications for ever-increasing totalitarianism and fascism, and perpetual, endless war. So it would be a complete waste of my time.
Let them have their eternal flames and their dawn vigils and their marches. Let them think that by doing so, they are somehow moving the world in any direction but towards an Orwellian hell. The way to get rid of war is to
stop focusing on war, not by being continually obsessed with it. No one, however, wants to know that.
I am learning to accept that which I can not change; because aside from anything else, trying to change the above, is trying to dictate
what other people want. I do not have the right to do that, aside from it being pointless for me to try.
b} Focusing on the things I do not want, is not the way to get the scenario that I

Recent example here; the free/open source UNIX operating systems are currently being destroyed. I've been upset about that; very upset. Yet every time I try and talk to anyone about it, all I receive is censure, mockery, and abuse. Like the war commemoration issue, nobody wants to hear it. Most people think the current order of things is just peachy, and that I should just shut up.
So I realised that the way around that, was to actively work on what I
do want. If I think that the current programming paradigm is degenerate, (which I do) then I need to start learning about FORTH and alternative solutions that do have a provably higher level of integrity, and then actively work towards implementing them.
Maybe no one will want said solutions, while I'm alive. Maybe I'll just end up burying my work in a time capsule for when the world
is ready for it. Either way, I can at least know that I've
offered a potential way out or form of improvement for someone who actually wants it; and at the end of the day, that is all I really
can do.

The solution is to attack the disease itself, rather than the symptoms. If you lock up the snakes while most people still have the mentality that they still either want to be ruled by them, or they can't be bothered ruling themselves, then the snakes you've locked up will only get replaced with more. I've spent time wallowing in the hatred of several politicians, Sinny; it never achieved anything positive. I know well what it is like to crave vengeance from the likes of Steven Harper; but it is genuinely pointless.
At this point, I don't want to see Harper or his ilk lynched. Honestly, I don't have an answer for this. I hope that it's obvious that I consider paedophilia just as horrific as anyone else here. There are things I've read online, that have brought me close to vomiting. My uncle is a convicted paedophile, and a large part of the reason for my own celibacy is what that has done to my own view of sex in general.
If paedophiles can be identified, then they absolutely should be tried, duly convicted, and permanently incarcerated. Paedophilia is a genuine and fundamental threat to the survival of the species, quite seriously; having society full of minds that are shattered to that degree is unbelievably dangerous.
Imprisonment remains a band-aid solution, however. We still need to change the fundamental dynamics which allow paedophiles and psychopaths to get into political office in the first place; because if we don't do that, then eventually the prisons themselves will start to overflow.

I was talking about a devolved UK. It would be very similar to the USA. There would be a central "Federal" government and a number of states with their own assemblies (like Scotland and Wales already have but with more powers). Basically the UK would still exist.
Those states (countries here) would most likely be, Cornwall, East Midlands (Capital Nottinghamm), West Midlands (Birmingham, North West (Manchester), North East (Newcastle), South East (London), South Central (Southampton, West Country (Bristol). The English assemblies (apart from Cornwall) would have similar populations to Scotland.
ETA: Oops, I forgot about Yorkshire (Leeds or Sheffield). Sorry Yorkshirefolk.
