Looks good to me!! Of course anything can be faked, but..................this looks like fact! :) I is such a simple device though, one would think we would all already have one in our house or back yard.

Either the truth about this is so simple, the common physicist can't think to that low level of technology, or, it is simply fake??

I did not get any audio while watching.  Hearing the generator run would be reassuring.

The questionable part is where he places two, and only two, metal nails through the base at precisely marked points.  The base is also constructed of two boards fastened together.  An inspection by independent third party would be helpful.

I always question video titles and articles that have a question mark in them.

However it is very convincing.

Mr. Kahloon had better be careful who he shows his invention to.  This may be considered terror....ism.   A threat to the Big Oil and Big Energy paid for governments of the world.

Keep his eye to the sky in Pakistan for a drone attack.

Speaking of  a threat to Big Oil.  Check out the new car being produced from Toyota that is using a Hydrogen fuel cell to power a generator in an electric car.  Called a Mirai.  This is no hoax and is scheduled for production.

http://www.toyota.ca/cgi-bin/WebObjects/WWW.woa/37/wo/Home.Vehicles.Concept-ubYtyaJSd7SlxhBb7lVz6M/0.7?v180021e%2ehtml&gclid=CJvN_Ja9oMUCFQsAaQodDFAAHw

Mirai in Japaneese means the future.  I believe it will be. I will start a separate thread to not derail this one.

I would suspect hoax.  The second law of thermodynamics, and the conservation of energy - energy is neither created or destroyed.
When energy is created - it comes from something, somewhere.

If the principle of 'free-energy' was a simple as a magnetic field, then why isn't each AC or DC motor a free energy generator?

Look into it, and you will discover that the most consistently fraudulent sub-type of claimed overunity generator, is the magnetic.  The Internet is drowning in commercialistic BS associated with the Bedini motor(s) in particular.  I am not saying that this proves at all that the current motor is definitely fraudulent; but I am saying that I have learned to be more skeptical towards magnetic motors in particular.  From what I have seen, it's usually the unconventional adaptations of hydrogen electrolysis (many of which already have some degree of mainstream acknowledgement and several patents) that seem the most promising.

Poking around, you're right Petrus4.  Seems the permanent magnet motor has been around since the 1920's.  If it actually did work you would think at some point in the past 90 years some bright entrepreneur would have jumped on the free money wagon.

Thanks Micjer! It is interesting how much better is the technical review ....... with sound! :)

Yes, as Petrus comments, there have been a host of these free energy projects, and thus far, for whtever reason, we still do not have "free energy". Both of the vids posted above seem to demonstrate continuous energy output with magnets, with no external power support. Here is another similar type generator vid, except it is being demonstrated in a bit more "scientific" environment/set-up. :)

How does a magnet pull without any energy input then?

A force is not the same as energy.

What does a force like magnetism cause?  Motion.

What does an  object in motion have?  Kinetic ENERGY.

So where does the kinetic energy come from?

Just asking....

ETA:  I think I have an answer but that only poses another question. ;)

The Kinetic energy "comes" from the field exerting a force on an object resulting in acceleration.

The more pertinent question is what effect this transfer of energy has on the source, in this case the field. Conservation of Energy principle requires energy to be conserved...without much inquiry I'd start hunting for the physics that describe a natural magnets field vector. I'd think that the magnet's field magnitude would have to decrease after an event resulting in its field exerting a force on an object. I suppose temperature and the actually mass of the magnet would be other means for compliance with the conservation.

You'd think I'd know something that fundamental having a BS in mech engineering. But in all honesty, I have no idea.

You guys are moving somewhat into the technical side of this, which is good. Not that you haven't looked at it, but no one has mentioned having reviewed the "patent" for the Muammer Yildiz magnetic motor posted above.

Again, the link for the magnetic motor patent - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2GRHIhjQGBlRDNFUGRWdFpwZlE/edit?pli=1

This may be a German patent, but not sure. If one downloads the "patent", there is an English only version, but it does not have any of the design layout drawings that are included in the other versions. Just FYI, I will include here  a screenshot of a layout that also is a separate piece of the patent download that does show how some of the magnetic north and south poles are configured for this motor.

A German patent and a drawing with comments in Russian? ???

PS: the image in colour doesn't appear on the patent.

Very likely (if the inventor is smart), he would have applied for patent  as soon as he possibly could, to ensure the safety of his invention. What is shown in Muammer's videos above are referred to as "2104 Prototypes". The first page of the patent data reflects dates  for years 2007, 2008, and 2009. So, what he had back 5 to 8 years ago likely was not as "colorful" anyway. :)

Something I'd like to try is making a low powered (>5 volt) air compressor, first saving up a tank of air, and then using it to run a Tesla turbine.  I'd be interested to find out whether or not it would be possible for the turbine to generate enough electricity to keep running the compressor after the tank ran out.

It might work.  It might not.  I do not know.  If it didn't work, then I could probably set up something solar based to run the compressor.

How much air pressure?

Air compressors draw more current as the amount of work required increases as a function of the pressure in the tank. They draw a LOT of current.

I wish someone would answer or address my lack of understanding here.

I can't seem to find an answer online or in any of my textbooks. I can make the math work by inferring it is m (mass) that's the variable. Unfortunately, that's total non-sense without some real world data.

How much air pressure?

Little.  I'd truthfully be a bit scared of going over 60 psi, because of the risk of explosions.  The turbine also would be small.  This would partly be because it would only be an initial test, but partly also because I'm generally more inclined to build networks of small individual things in number, rather than a single large device.
