Tom and John Write Together, Tom and John Die Together
We credit Thomas Jefferson with the brilliance that is the Declaration of Independence. But like most works of profound influence, there is usually more than one hand at work. John Adams was a close editor and confidant of Jefferson's, and each would have similar things in common as well.
They died on the same day on July 4, 1826, exactly 50 years after the signing of America's best document. Odd? You ain't seen nothin' yet.
Jules Winnfield once said, "Whether or not what we experienced was an According to Hoyle miracle is insignificant; what is significant is that I felt the touch of God. God got involved." As humans, freak occurrences happen. Usually the logical side of the brain takes over and casts them into the 'Nah' folder. These stories, however, will make you think twice about cosmic oddities being only mere happenstance.

A Photographic Coincidence
Couple Nick and Aimee Wheeler married 20 years after Nick's family took this photo. Remarkably, Aimee is pictured a mere 10 feet away in the background. They didn't know each other. Nick and Aimee were wed on the same beach two decades later.
Twin Crash
In 1994, two sisters took fateful drives to deliver presents to each other on Christmas Eve. Lorraine and Levinia collided on the way, ending both their lives tragically and freakishly. They lived in separate towns, and had the last name 'Christmas.'
The Curious Story of Edwin Booth
John Wilkes Booth and Abraham Lincoln had an eerie connection even before the most infamous assassination in American history. The brother of Booth, Edwin Booth, was waiting for a train in 1864. A man whom Edwin never knew tripped above the tracks and nearly fell into an oncoming train in Jersey City, but was pulled to safety by Edwin. That man was Lincoln's son, Robert Lincoln.
more about Robert futher down..i need to explore HIS life
Two Tales, Two Unsinkable Ships, Two Icebergs
In 1898, English author Morgan Robertson wrote a novella titled "Futility." It was about the world's largest passenger ship, Titan, striking an iceberg and sinking in the cold North Atlantic.
Both happened in April. Both sank 400 miles from Newfoundland. Both were described as unsinkable. Both had maximum occupancies of 3,000 passengers. And both had upwards of 2,000 souls drown in the icy waters. 14 years apart.
First and Last Soldiers Buried in Vexing Locations
Private John Parr was the first British soldier to die in World War I on August 21, 1914. In one of the bloodiest wars in history, almost a million English lives would be lost. The last British soldier to die was George Edwin Ellison, 30, in 1918. Unplanned and infinitely bizarre, both soldiers were buried in the same cemetery, 15 feet away, with both graves facing each other.
The Weirdest Thing to Ever Happen
Two 17-year-old brothers were struck and killed by the same taxi driver carrying the same passenger at the same intersection, exactly one year apart. Levin and Erskine Ebbin met their fatal demise in Bermuda in 1974 and 1975.
Mark Twain's Cosmic Revelation
The day Halley's Comet appeared in 1835 was the same day Mark Twain was born. Twain, one of history's most celebrated writers, said this a year before he died: "It is coming again next year and I expect to go with it ... Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together."
In 1910, he passed. One day later, Halley's Comet brushed past Earth yet again.
James Dean's Little Bastard
In 1955, James Dean would own a Porsche Spyder, one of only 90 in the world. The vehicle would kill him in a fiery crash, but the "Little Bastard," as he dubbed it, would live out its name in infamy.
The Porsche was basically an agent of Satan:
• The man who bought "Little Bastard" after Dean's death, George Barris, would restore it; while mechanics were unloading it, the engine fell out and broke both of an engineer's legs.
• The parts were later sold to Troy McHenry and William Eschrid, two physicians and racing nerds who would face the wrath of "Little Bastard" during a contest at the Pomona Fairgrounds; both installed parts from the Porsche, and McHenry's vehicle smashed into a tree, killing him instantly; Eschrid's car flipped and he sustained life-threatening injuries.
• Barris, still owning a lion's share of the parts, reluctantly sold two of its tires to a boy; a short time later both tires blew out and the boy would die.
• What was left of "Little Bastard" was sold to the California Highway Patrol; within two days, the garage hosting the car burnt to the ground and every vehicle within was destroyed, except for "Little Bastard."
• Auctioned to an exhibit, the Porsche crushed a teen's hip when it fell from the display.
• Through all this, a young man tried to steal the steering wheel and he gashed his arm significantly.
• In 1960, "Little Bastard" mysteriously disassembled and broke into 11 pieces, rendering it useless for good.
George Barris said he had "bad feelings" about the Porsche Spyder when he first saw it.
now this one I want to see about the other 89 cars of the line..and perhaps anyting about WHO built them
Same Heart
In 1975, British twins John and Arthur Mowforth perished in eerie circumstances. "What happened to one usually happened to the other," their sister said. On May 22, 1975, both experienced "severe chest pains" and died at precisely the same moment in hospitals 100 miles apart.

The Vast, Left-Handed Conspiracy
While only 10 percent of the U.S. population is left-handed, you'd never know it just by looking at American presidents. It turns out that over half of the last 14 presidents were all lefties, and recently, five of the last seven presidents were left-handed. Keep in mind that up until the 1970s, kids were still forced to become right-handed in school, so it took a special kind of stubbornness to remain a southpaw into adulthood.
Where it Gets Really Weird:
In fact, in most recent elections you really didn't have a choice, since over the past two decades, nearly every presidential candidate has been left-handed. In 2008, both Barack Obama and John McCain were left-handed. In 1992, all three candidates for president were lefties: Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, and dear old Ross Perot.
What are the odds? They're so long that the nation would never see something like that again until ... the very next election. As you may remember, 1996 Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole was left-handed, running against the incumbent, Ole' Leftie Bill. What the hell? It's not like there's some cultural bias toward left-handers -- we bet most of you had no idea any of these people were even left-handed at all, until we told you.
So what's the only other answer if not bizarre coincidence? That left-handers are secretly a superior race who are naturally born to rule the other 90 percent of society?
btw Hilary is right handed..gotta check out the rest who are running

Lewis and Clark were trying to get 40 horses from an Indian Tribe to cross the Rockies safely. The negotiations were getting nowhere until their interpreter found out she was the Chief's long lost sister.
The girl, Sacagawea, had been taken as a slave as a child. This changed the direction of the talk and Lewis and Clark's party got their horses.

Twin boys, born in Ohio, were separated at birth. They were adopted by different families but, unbeknownst to the parents of the boys, the twins were both named James. Both boys grew up not knowing each other but led the same lives:
-They both had first wives names Linda divorced their wives and married other women.
-They both divorced and remarried women named Betty.
-Both were law enforcement officers.
-Both had children, including sons named James Allan.
-Both had at one time owned dogs named Toy.
After 39 years of separation, the James Allan twins were reunited.
Picture this: You're taking a walk along the streets of Detroit, when a baby suddenly falls from an apartment up above. You catch the baby and no one is injured. Strange enough, right? Imagine walking down the street about a year later when the exact same thing happens. Joseph Figlock actually had this happen to him in Detroit in 1930. Both incidents happened with the same baby. Not sure what's stranger, the incident happening twice with the same people involved or Child Services not being called on the parents.
Barbara Forrest and Mary Ashford were both 20 years old, shared the same birthdates, were raped then strangled to death, and both bodies were found 300 yards from each other. Their deaths not only occurred in the same exact manner, but also happened on the same day. Incidentally, both women had just got done visiting a friend that evening, then each changed into a new dress, and had gone to a dance – presumably meeting their killers, by the name of Thornton. Same killer? Nope. These killings happened on May 27th, 1817 and 1974 exactly 157 years apart. If you believe in reincarnation, perhaps this is more than a creepy coincidence.
During the creation of a video game called Deus Ex, the gaming engineer forgot to add the Twin Towers in the New York skyline. In order to correct his mistake, the game added to the story line that they were missing because of terrorist attacks. The game was released in the year 2000.
eeewwwwwwwww
In 1838, Edgar Allan Poe released a book called "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket", a book about 4 crewmen on a whaling ship who ended up having to draw lots to see who would get eaten after being stranded and hungry for days. The lot landed on a cabin boy named Richard Parker. Fast forward 46 years; and disaster at sea caused legal uproar because 3 crewmen ended up eating their cabin boy named Richard Parker after drawing lots.

The founder of the Timurid dynasty and Mongol warlord Emir Timur's burial site was found by the Soviet Union in 1941. In his tomb, it was stated that "Who ever opens my tomb, shall unleash an invader more terrible than I." What happened that exact day? Adolf Hitler declared war on the Soviet Union. This coincidence terrified the Soviets so much that they ended up reburying him and in accordance to Islamic tradition even (remember: the Soviet Union back then was strictly atheist by law). Soon later, the tide had turned and the Soviet Union was winning battles against Nazi Germany and won the war.
Robert Todd Lincoln, the son of Abraham Lincoln, was with his father when he was assassinated. Coincidentally enough, he was also an eyewitness to the assassination of President James. A Garfield in 1881, as Garfield's Secretary of War. 20 years later, in 1901, Robert Todd Lincoln was at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York, at the invitation of then President William McKinley. And guess what? William McKinley was assassinated that day. After this event, Robert Todd Lincoln turned down any future invitations by Presidents to events, fearing that his association lead to their deaths.
When another president invited him to an event, he's said to have commented: "No, I'm not going, and they'd better not ask me, because there is a certain fatality about presidential functions when I am present."
yep gotta do some research on old Robert Todd
In Monza, Italy, King Umberto I, went to a small restaurant for dinner, accompanied by his aide-de-camp, General Emilio Ponzia-Vaglia. When the owner took King Umberto's order, the King noticed that he and the restaurant owner were virtual doubles, in face and in build. Both men began discussing the striking resemblances between each other and found many more similarities.
Both men were born on the same day, of the same year, (March 14th, 1844).
Both men had been born in the same town.
Both men married a woman with same name, Margherita.
The restauranteur opened his restaurant on the same day that King Umberto was crowned King of Italy.
On the 29th July 1900, King Umberto was informed that the restauranteur had died that day in a mysterious shooting accident, and as he expressed his regret, he was then assassinated by an anarchist in the crowd.
edit to add this.. found it easily
Presence at assassinations[edit]
Robert Lincoln was coincidentally either present or nearby when three presidential assassinations occurred.[41]
Lincoln was not present at his father's assassination.[42] He was at the White House,[43] and rushed to be with his parents.[44] The president was moved to Petersen House after the shooting, where Robert attended his father's deathbed.[45]
At President James A. Garfield's invitation, Lincoln was at the Sixth Street Train Station in Washington, D.C., where the President was shot by Charles J. Guiteau on July 2, 1881, and was an eyewitness to the event. Lincoln was serving as Garfield's Secretary of War at the time.
At President William McKinley's invitation, Lincoln was at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York, where the President was shot by Leon Czolgosz on September 6, 1901, though he was not an eyewitness to the event.[46]
Lincoln himself recognized these coincidences. He is said to have refused a later presidential invitation with the comment "No, I'm not going, and they'd better not ask me, because there is a certain fatality about presidential functions when I am present."[47]
Robert Lincoln and Edwin Booth[edit]
Robert Lincoln was once saved from possible serious injury or death by Edwin Booth, brother of John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of his father. The incident took place on a train platform in Jersey City, New Jersey. The exact date of the incident is uncertain, but it is believed to have taken place in late 1863 or early 1864, before John Wilkes Booth's assassination of President Lincoln (April 14, 1865).
Robert Lincoln recalled the incident in a 1909 letter to Richard Watson Gilder, editor of The Century Magazine:
The incident occurred while a group of passengers were late at night purchasing their sleeping car places from the conductor who stood on the station platform at the entrance of the car. The platform was about the height of the car floor, and there was of course a narrow space between the platform and the car body. There was some crowding, and I happened to be pressed by it against the car body while waiting my turn. In this situation the train began to move, and by the motion I was twisted off my feet, and had dropped somewhat, with feet downward, into the open space, and was personally helpless, when my coat collar was vigorously seized and I was quickly pulled up and out to a secure footing on the platform. Upon turning to thank my rescuer I saw it was Edwin Booth, whose face was of course well known to me, and I expressed my gratitude to him, and in doing so, called him by name.
Months later, while serving as an officer on the staff of General Ulysses S. Grant, Robert Lincoln recalled the incident to his fellow officer, Colonel Adam Badeau, who happened to be a friend of Edwin Booth. Badeau sent a letter to Booth, complimenting the actor for his heroism. Before receiving the letter, Booth had been unaware that the man whose life he had saved on the train platform had been the President's son. The incident was said to have been of some comfort to Edwin Booth following his brother's assassination of the President.[48][49] President Ulysses Grant also sent Booth a letter of gratitude for his action.

During filming of 'Rebel Without a Cause', Dean traded the Porsche 356 for one of only 90 Porsche 550 Spyders. He was contractually barred from racing during the filming of 'Giant', but with that out of the way, he was free to compete again.
Dean's 550 was customised by the young George Barris, (who would go on to the design of the Batmobile). Dean's Porsche was numbered 130 at the front, side and back. Apparently when Dean introduced himself to Alec Guinness outside of a restaurant on 23 September 1955, he asked him to take a look at the Spyder. Guinness thought the car appeared "sinister" and told Dean: "If you get in that car you will be found dead in it by this time next week."
On 30 September, Dean and his mechanic Rolf Wütherich set off from Competition Motors, where they had prepared the Porsche Spyder for a sports car race at Salinas, California. Dean originally intended to trailer the Porsche to the meeting point at Salinas, behind his new Ford Country Squire station wagon. At the last minute, Dean instead drove the Spyder, having decided he needed more time to familiarise himself with the car.
He was driving west on U.S. Highway 466 in California when a 1950 Ford Tudor, driven from the opposite direction by 23-year-old student Donald Turnupseed, attempted to take a fork in the road and crossed into Dean's lane without seeing him. The two cars hit almost head on.
Wütherich had been thrown from the car, but survived with a broken jaw and other injuries. Dean was taken to Paso Robles War Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 5:59PM. His last known words, uttered right before impact, are said to have been: "That guy's gotta stop... He'll see us."
He was buried in Park Cemetery in Indiana and in 1977 a Dean memorial was built in California. It is composed of stainless steel and concrete and has been erected around a Tree of Heaven just 400 yards from where Dean crashed.
The dates and hours of his birth and death as well as a handwritten description from Dean's close friend William Bast of a line from Dean's favourite book 'The Little Prince' are inscribed on the sculpture.
Interesting...very creepy but very interesting!
Who needs fiction when fact is so much more mind boggling?
Thanks for a stimulating read :)
