A chilling sound from the sky has been heard in various locations around the world at different times for nearly a decade, and it has all who have heard it perplexed and concerned. It's affected one Montana resident so extensively that the whirling noise has given him perpetual nightmares, causing him to wake in a cold sweat and screaming. He has never experienced such night terrors before hearing the odd sound.
According to witness accounts reported by the Daily Mail, the unusual and unearthly noise sounds like a trumpet or a collective from a brass section of an orchestra. Videos shot by startled hearers of the oddity — from the U.S., Canada, Ukraine, and Germany — show the chorus seemingly coming from the atmosphere.

Crazy and yet no definitive answer...
Seems to be at certain times of year Hmmm
Invisible Alien Galactic Destroyers maybe?

Maybe we have visitors and don't know it!
Just a guess - possibly someone(s) continuing to play the generally known electronic "HAARP"............ (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) instrument! :))
The sounds heard in these videos certainly are and would-be cause for wonderment about what is and where is the source. And, the fact that these strange sounds are being heard at different times in different places WORLDWIDE should give strengthened credit to OUR evidential thought relative to the reality of what is being reported. NOW, WHAT ARE THESE SOUNDS/WHAT IS CAUSING THEM?? ?? ?? Are these simply just "groaning sounds" of the Earth, or.................?
I would speculate that these are not groaning sounds of the Earth, if they only just started within the past few years. :)
Interesting points in the video are:
- The video clips range over a span of 7 years, 2008-2015
- The video clips were made in 6 different countries, including 2 in Terrace B.C., and 2 in the USA. The videos in Terrace B.C were made on Aug. 2013 and on May 2015. The 2 videos made in the USA were in Allen Texas on Jan. 2012, and in Missoula Montana on Feb. 2012.
Z mentioned the "certain times of the year" - well these videos do span from the months of January to August. No way to know if there are other vids, nor to know if these sounds were heard at times when no vids were made to capture the sounds.........! :)

HAARP does not produce SOUND waves they are EM waves :P
Minor detail I know but :P
Detecting the source of a sound is not that difficult, as sound travels relatively slowly, so someone closer to the source will ear the sound before people farther away.

:) - I was mostly making a funny in that regard, in that saying HAARP out loud = "harp" with strings, which does make sounds. I didn't know whether HAARP made noise or not, but I did assume that it did not, or at least no more "noise" than most transmitters might make.
But the noises on the OP videos seem to be broadly presented transmissions from whatever the source(s) may be!!
Certainly has me baffled....ahhhh the mystery continues......
Is there any possibility for any type of high-power signal - UHF/VHF/SHF/Audio/Video/Etc/Etc - that would/could/might interact with the electrical gravitational field around the Earth, that might result in such odd harmonic noises - harmonic relating to, or noting a series of oscillations in which each oscillation has a frequency that is an integral multiple of the same basic frequency. Guitar strings make a noise when plucked. What kind of sound might a gravitational electrical field make when its currents are "plucked"?? :)
Something is causing these sounds, and the sounds seem to be coming from above/beyond from where these people are located in the different places. Note that most of the people are looking mostly up, which should indicate to us that they at least think what they are hearing is coming from above, and not from the ground.
Strange Sounds Map (http://seektress.com/ssounds.htm)
listening to the op vid it sounded a lot like trains to me
when they hook up to each other or even a manufacturing place releaseing something
so I looked up the terrance BC locale to see the topography and the town sits in a bowl surrounded by mountians..with a river and rails
the sound could have been magnified down to them..
I got sidetracked but I wondered if there was a rail yard close enough to
them or the others
we live up hill from a steel plant..AL which is now empty and sometimes
when they were unloading or loading trains we would get noises similar to the vid
so my guess is some type of manufacturing and a low ceiling to carry the sound..but just too lazy to look up stuff and put it together today
sorry
:(
A today's news article on this specific subject! This provides us even more detail, including pics of separate sound-wave recordings taken at different locations. This is getting more interesting as we go along! This may not be a big deal, but interesting because this is another thing WE JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT It IS, NOR WHERE IT IS COMING FROM!! :o

What IS this strange sound from the sky? Noise heard across the globe for nearly a DECADE - but nobody has an explanation
One woman in Canada has recorded chilling sounds several times
At its strongest, eerie noises sounds like a trumpet
Similar outbursts have been captured on countries around the world including the U.S., Ukraine, Germany and Belarus
One man in the U.S. says he woke up screaming after hearing the sounds

Sorry haven't read the whole threead so I may be repeating what others have said but they sound like "sound effects" from movies. The Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds probably inspired this. The real ones are Earth crying for her children (Geological).
