Title: Earth's Cousin Found: All About Exoplanet Kepler-452b
Post by: rdunk on July 24, 2015, 03:35:38 AM
Well, this is another in a running list of planets having some similarity to Earth - Kepler 452B. And 452b is actually pretty close, as it is only about 1,400 "light years" distance away from Earth!! :) 452b is about 5X the mass of Earth, and thought to be older than Earth. Its orbital distance from its star is very similar to Earth's orbit about the Sun. So, much possible similarity!

I am posting a screenshot with a little more info on this, and am posting a link to the information.
