IT'S A LEMON!!!! -- No it's a battery
Remember the Baghdad Batteries and those Egyptian Lightbulbs?
Well tests proved that lemon juice in those batteries would produce about the same voltage as a modern cell about 1.5 volts
Many of us know that sticking wires into a lemon can also produce electricity... and stringing lemons together can increas the power..
But here is a Geek explaining HOW and WHY and it is interesting. I would imagine that this could explain a lot and help lead us to free energy :D
I never knew this either... seems the source of the electricity is NOT the LEMON... but the COPPER

Seems NASA is checking it out too...

The source is the copper and the zinc, that's why it doesn't work if you only use copper or only use zinc, you need two different metals with different electronegativities.
If you look at a periodic table you will see why they prefer to use zinc instead of iron (it also works).
We stick copper rods into the earth... we call them GROUNDS... our electricity flows from the power lines through our house and into the ground
maybe if we use a ZINC rod we can reverse this flow and watch the meter run backwards :D
Well okay maybe it doesn't work that easily :P
EARTH BATTERY (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_battery)
This works with any veggie or fruit...just need a copper wire on one end and a galvanized nail on the other.

I doubt it works with
any, as the electrolyte needs to be able to react with one of the electrodes.
Ok I guess I got my foot in my mouth there. :) I will say it DID work with the veggies and fruits my daughter and I did for her science project although we did pick foods most likely to work. We used like a dozen potatoes hooked in series in the end, generating 3 volts.
If life gives you lemons, built a pyramid? :p
