How to get huge ATS Points: Secrets Revealed!By MarrsAttax
Quote1) Make an unsubstantiated claim in your thread title. The more outrageous the better. Say you have proof of something. Use an exclamation point to make it even more exciting!
2) In your first post say something completely unintelligent. The less research you do the better as people will have to post to point out your ignorance.
3) Leave no room for doubt. State your case as fact. This will enrage the skeptics and delight the believers.
4) Use video. People love watching video, it's much quicker than reading through long tracts of boring text. Also, the less informative, more vague and more open to interpretation the video evidence is, the better. People will still Flag your thread and post 'Good Find!'.
5) Make a prediction. Be careful to make sure the event is not too soon or not too distant. Within the next month or two is good. State that the source of your prediction is channelling for extra points. The prediction should also be outrageous or apocalyptic.
6) Be populist. The majority of posters want to believe in something so pander to them. They don't want to be told they are wrong, they want their beliefs validated.
7) Be controversial. Libelling a minority group is always good. The bigots will post to agree with you, other people will post to defend the group. Spouting religious dogma or attacking a major world religion also both work equally well.
Good luck!

ATS tagged it as SATIRE :P But it's pretty close to the reality for most forums :D
Well, it can be satire and the truth. :)
I predict that I will somehow manage to crawl out of bed and go to work tomorrow. I also predict that the same nurses will keep making the same mistakes in charting their assessments. Last but not least, I predict that my oldest granddaughter will have a meltdown about something.
Shasta 8)
I slapped my prediction to the end here since Tango Spookz is a psy-op spook nut house. I want every one to toss me gold totaling 150 points before the end arrives tomorrow.
Love the list Z.
Same rules go if you want to start a Cult.

That's because it follows the same "believe me and don't ask questions" principle. :)
Haha, yeah lets label it satire lol!
It's sad because its true, it's even sadder that the majority including the site owners know this.
But its not like they care, posts like that bring in revenue.
I can't forget those Tango Spook times I wrote award winning words and was rewarded with 500 points by sprinkler and other admins, only to have them taken away by a shill admin sock puppet. Those were the days and I haven't been back.
And all those points don't even get you a T-SHIRT :P
Oh, Oh, I have a Tango Spook story.
In a website long long ago with spooks crawling the place, I had points up the azz from admins.
One day a drunken fool from the inside writes some weird story called butt darts. Ya, you read that right BUTT DARTS.
This spookin pot bellied drunk, who's face was red just like a heavy drinker constantly under the influence, got his couple a party friends together in a drunken stupor and made up a silly little game called butt darts.
He post this silly sheet to the spook forum with pictures. I was sickened by this foul filth and let him know. You see, he was so proud of his depravity that he posted pictures of the defiled act. In those pics we see a shot glass on the floor and a brown stained quarter in it. He further explains the game where you tuck a quarter in your bare azz and waddle over the shot glass to drop the tainted coin into the shot glass, if you can.
He was genuinely proud of his disgraceful show of sickening behavior.
I complained and he got defensive and I lost points since this was condoned by his spook peers buried deep in the forum.
He's dead now, thank the stars. No more defiling the innocents with filthy behavior such as that.
I remember that case.
I never liked drunks. ::)

The whole point system has become pointless anyway. Since their latest forum " upgrade " some random members have like a gazillion stars and flags.
One does wonder how something like that could have happened.
One might suggest the owners do have some way of adding points and flags to posts/people they like.

No need to 'suggest' it :P It is easily done
Here is one from the good old days :P

For those of us who celebrate Christmas tonight is a "special night" usually shared with only our closest and dearest friends and our families.
I would like to take this opportunity to let each and every one of our Members who frequently contribute outstanding content to the ATS Aliens/UFO Forum how much we appreciate those contributions.
I would also like to acknowledge one person in particular, whether you agree with what he thinks or not you have to admit the man is a dedicated workhorse!
His contributions have been tremendous and his integrity is beyond reproach IMHO.
Of whom do I write?
Why ZORGON of course!
In appreciation for Zorgon's continuous efforts, which reflect the ATS motto of "Deny Ignorance" by virtue of exploring every possible detail, I am glad to announce that Zorgon has been awarded 100,000 ATS POINTS, and we have asked him to lead the effort to put together the definitive ATS Compendium of Moon Picture Anomalies for possible publication on the permanent "Main Site Content Page".
THANKS for the GREAT WORK ZORGON!

They used to have some use when buying things from the store, but now, as far as I know, the store isn't even working.

It's a bug in the "star system", some members (including me) know how that happens, and it only happens with older accounts.

Yeah but still, are you telling me you believe the system isn't rigged?

From what I have seen in all these years it doesn't look rigged, specially since the last software update, as the members can give more than one star.

I think all people have something in common, we just have to know more about them. :)

He wasn't banned, he was only post banned, and he returned some months after, so his signature still appears on his posts. The link (http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/profile.php?member=IgnoreTheFacts&action=post) was only to the list of his posts on his profile.
I see thx.
