Cash Card users beware of this trick .

Pensioner Loses £23,000 After Cashcard Stolen

Police have released CCTV footage of the moment a pensioner fell victim to a cashpoint distraction theft which caused him to lose £23,000.

Looking at this video...Would one suspect two older men to attempt to attempt to be involved in this con.

I can only assume that one of the men is shoulder surfing the pensioner to see what ID or code log in number he enters into the machine when doing the cash transaction when he has entered his cash credit  or debit card..

Then another man somehow times it that he comes to the machine next door and creates a distraction...

Just how quick the other man operates to switch the card.. just AFTER the pensioner has completed taking out his money..and how he times it that no one else notices it...as there seems quite a few people passing by..

Then the man who stole the card has the nerve to then use the machine next door..

In this case  lucky that there is CCTV...but does it help solve the crime and track the Con men down  I wonder ?
