Title: just for ArMaP
Post by: space otter on January 23, 2016, 07:49:17 PM

had to do it.. sorry couldn't help myself..bwhahahahahahahah

Rule #1: Substitute "he/him" or "she/her": If it's either "he" or "she," then it's "who;" if it's "him" or "her," then it's "whom." "he" (whoever) is the subject of the verb "called." In the sentence, "Give it to whoever deserves it":([You] give it to whoever deserves it.)

ok how's this one

First, to know whether to use "who" or "whom," we need to talk about the difference between subjects and objects because you use "who" when you are referring to the subject of a clause and "whom" when you are referring to the object of a clause. I know: subject and object sound pretty abstract, but it's easy.        Mar 9, 2007

or you can go here..but it's long

I am, even in my own language. :)

Things get worse in a language I learned just by hearing it, so I don't have any idea what the "object of a clause" means.

space otter I like to have people write as they speak, I would rather they skip the WTF S***t and such thought  ;D That way I get a feel for them, these people from all over the world! Some of the best books I have read had very bad grammer.

My daughter is always correcting me than/then there/their are times I like to have dessert in the desert! ;D :P

A thread on words might be fun actually!

grammer can be a fun or horrid topic
explaination  can be funny cause they only make it harder

I have so much admiration for armaps use of language other that is birth one I was poking fun
but as ususal, mr. literal turn the tables back on me..

I am sooooo glad we aren't keeping score

One of the King's Bowman gave the king a short bow and picked up his bow and arrows... then stood on the bow of the ship and fired a salute

Translating to Russian it solves the problem becasue he or she translates to it  :P
