Title: Media Spin on US Elections
Post by: Ellirium113 on May 25, 2016, 10:41:34 PM
Does anyone else find it interesting that in the news we can read about Anti-Trump mobs and Anti-Hillary mobs yet they don't seem to say anything about them being supporters of the other candidates. Where are the Pro-Trump supporter mobs or the Pro-Hillary supporter mobs?

This election is all about voting OUT your least favorite candidate. With this in mind the candidates should go full out and just say whatever they want LOL.

It may be that we tend to see mobs at least in the media when they are Anti Mobs..

But we do get to see supporters at events and in audiences..or holding up banners outside or on the streets if their candidate is about..but maybe not in such large groups..

Some may also suggest its voting / supporting for ones favourite candidate..

and some candidates do not have a problem in what they want to or go out to say...Trump as a typical eg...I would think..

I then looked at the link you posted and maybe I see what you mean.... a much larger scale than I was maybe thinking..

It maybe that you don't get Pro supporters doing maybe some peaceful process on that sort of scale..

should the pro supporters be their trying to oppose the anti pro ones..or is that too dangerous..it would seem quite high risk for many.. but we do see it sometimes...

wow you talk about manipulation..i see it all over this
i just heard on the news that trump is offering 10 million to go to a womans charity if bernie will debate him.. and the news channels are also calling bernie to do it

holy set up.. he also said  that bernie would loose

but my immediate thought was that  he was  bringing bernie to the forefront so that hillary would look worse if bernie got more votes from here on in
..cause no way could he win a debate against her with her political knowledge..
i don't think he could win  against bernie either

sooooooooooooooooooooo

i ask

>whose idea was or is it really
> is this just a way to mess with the dems (whose idea again the question)
> a way to get more votes for bernie cause he doesn't want to really be pres..he just wants to talk about how good he would be and he (or whomever) thinks this will kick hillary out of the race

personally the  way it looks to me is that bernie would be the best bet of the three

now, do i think any of them would make ANY difference to anything besides the news stories

bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

Donald Trump was relentlessly mocked on Twitter Saturday for backing out of a debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

The #ChickenTrump hashtag started trending soon after the businessman said he wouldn't discuss policy issues with the Democratic presidential candidate.

The presumptive GOP presidential nominee is depicted as farmyard foul in many of the hilarious images, gifs and short video clips that are going viral.

Here are some of the best:

Boxing promoter Bob Arum offers $20M for Trump-Sanders debate

By Jessica Chasmar - The Washington Times - Friday, May 27, 2016
Bob Arum's Top Rank Promotions has offered to promote a proposed Donald Trump vs. Bernie Sanders debate, pledging to donate the proceeds, a minimum of $20 million, to charity.

"It's the debate of the century between two of the top pound-for-pound politicians in the country — Mr. Trump, the Republican Party's presumptive nominee and Senator Sanders, the Democratic candidate," Mr. Arum said in a press release. "We have two contenders ready, willing and able to go mano a mano over the most important issues facing the United States. And I am ready to promote it."

The idea of the debate was first proposed Wednesday night during Mr. Trump's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Asked if he would consider the matchup, Mr. Trump responded: "We would have such high ratings and I think I should take that money and give it to some worthy charity."

Well Bernie is 74 years
September 8, 1941

I hope he would even make it through the election, he looks done in sometimes already.

indeed, they're either mentally bought or via finance, and they don't riot as if they mean it, for that you'd have to go back and look at genuine riots and protests. these peoples protests today are disingenuous

Even if Bernie could and did win how long could he sustain that sort of stress before he dropped. the guy should be retired not pushing for one of the most stressful jobs there is. The other 2 might as well be Disney characters up there. It would be interesting to see a poll of how many people are voting for each based purely on popularity and how many are voting for them based on their actual political agendas. Maybe one more to see how many are just voting out their least favorite regardless.

from what i can gather.
.i think most of the voting is so   the "other guy" doesn't win
from what voters have read and what they believe to be true...

it's all an illusion..sadly
