Former NASA engineer breaks silence with shocking news over world's most famous UFO CASES

I think that he does explain some good and interesting points with ref to some of the things that he explains to debunk some of the cases...that many of us may have not been aware about or considered..
A FORMER NASA engineer has spoken publicly for the first time about some of the world's most baffling UFO cases and conspiracy theories.
James Oberg worked at NASA mission control in the late 1990s before becoming a space journalist and historian.

A few years ago he was bitten by the UFO bug. So what does he have to say?
The first people to be disappointed by his revelations will be alien conspiracy theorists hoping he was about to lift the lid on the alleged cover up by NASA of the existence of ETs.
Instead, Mr Oberg has spent months sifting through popular online UFO cases, debunking them using science.
His conclusion revolves around something he calls "space dandruff" - or people misunderstanding what space travel would actually looks like.
Mr Oberg says he does not want to humiliate genuine believers, as that is just like "stomping on dormice."
Instead, he hopes he can work out what really happened during each popular sighting and why so many people believe they are aliens.
He said: "Our human senses are so used to focussing on relatively slow-moving objects, as well as certain light and atmosphere conditions, that when things change, our brains get confused.
"Our sensory system is functioning absolutely perfectly for Earth conditions.
"But we're still a local civilisation. Moving beyond our neighbourhood has been visually confusing."
Some of the UFO cases held up as the most compelling result from claims by NASA astronauts that they allegedly saw UFOs during a space mission.
But these are invariably followed by claims of a cover up and that NASA forced them to to keep silent about the sighting.

Mr Oberg said on his website: "I've had enough experience with real spaceflight to realise that what's being seen in many videos is nothing beyond the norm from fully mundane phenomena occurring in unearthly settings."
Over the past 12 months, there have been a glut of alleged UFO sightings on the live stream of the International Space Station (ISS).
Many were reported, and some already debunked, on Express.co.uk, as lens flares, when light reflected inside the camera is fired back out onto the resulting camera or video image.
Mr Oberg said many of the other ISS sightings were space dandruff.
These are bits that have fallen off space vehicles during flight, like ice flakes, paint chips, or fragments of insulation.
He said these tiny pieces of litter are different to space junk, because they don't pose a real threat to any spacecraft.

He said: "These flecks of dandruff are pretty common, but the reason they look so weird to us is that we're not used to the way these objects look when they fall while the space station is travelling through space.
"It's the same reason why people see so many UFOs in the footage filmed by the cameras attached to NASA's old space shuttle missions.
"In these videos, people usually freak out because the spots seem to dance in and out of view, or suddenly appear and disappear. Which is pretty creepy if you're sitting at your computer on Earth, but isn't that weird if you're on a space shuttle travelling 28,000 km/h (17,500 mph) - nothing's going to stay in your frame of vision very long."

He said that if the spacecraft is in the right position compared to our sun, its shadow can be cast onto the objects making them disappear and reappear- known as 'twilight shadowing'.
One major event, that took the net by storm last year, was a flare of light across a Californian night sky.
In December locals were freaked out when the white streak shot across the night sky.
However, Mr Oberg pointed out it has since emerged it was a planned, unarmed missile test by the US Navy.

The bizarre looking trail of light was a plume of particles from the rocket thruster.
He said it looked so odd on Earth because: "We're used to seeing thin vapour trails left by planes, or billowing smoke plumes. But most of us have rarely (if ever) seen anything so big and sharp as this.
"There were thousands of people who were absolutely processing their visual stimuli correctly if [the plume] was a mile away or 10 miles away.
"But it was 300 miles away, up in space and sunlit, which never occurred to them, because this is not something within the normal range of human experience."
But his analysis does not mean he is against people continuing to look for evidence of aliens.
He said: "It's good to keep scanning space video for possible anomalies and reporting them quickly.
"The reason is, there is always a real chance that it could be a genuine anomaly, either a spacecraft malfunction or other threat, expected or unexpected. In the past, missions have failed because a clue that should have been seen out the window was overlooked."
Earlier this year Express.co.uk revealed that two UFO experts had separately investigated so many cases, they did not believe a single unexplainable UFO had ever been caught on camera.
And last year a YouTube novice successfully debunked the age-old myth of the alleged 13,000-year-old alien black knight satellite in 11 minutes.

I have not caught up or as yet fully understood the concerns with the posting on the forum / edit issues as yet..
But I was aware most times when I create an article to post.. it usually takes at least two attempts..and the 1st attempt shows some message..that i don't understand..I assumed it was just my computer / operating system being outdated as Im still on windows Xp...and Im now finding some online services now do not work on that system any longer or that they are having issues..

With ref to Jim and the cases..Im sure many he debunks are valid..but most people do not have the engineering or Space knowledge that he has, to question them..
But I am aware of some of the discussion members have had with him on PRC in relation to certain cases that it may have appeared that he was either covering up or that maybe he really did not have the answers..
With re to Neil Armstrong and did he go to he moon etc..
One main thing that I still have to question is that he did at least appear to risk his neck on some earth based test flights..and could had easily been killed..
I would have to question would someone do that to such an extreme and not be legit towards the Apollo agenda..
I think he came close to death on at least two occasions prior to Apollo 11.

I have seen I think at least two TV programs about Neil Armstrong..
and its an interesting debate..
I think that I had seen him do some TV interviews prior..(I was not really noting that at the time) or there may just have been some more private discussions with him by certain interviewers.
and they may have only been short clips within a documentary..
It was suggested that he was a very reserved maybe shy person in public..(even before Apollo 11) if I recall correct what was said..
But I agree that could be a ideal way to cover things up..

I THOUGHT that I had also seen footage of HIM.. getting into and attempting to fly some sort of craft and witnessing it having a problem and him having to eject from it as it started to crash.. and them rather calmly landing by parachute and not seeming flustered..
That's not to say that it was not someone else as he may have had an helmet on.. but it was suggested that it was him..

There are interviews if you look at either google or yahoo video searches for Neil Armstrong. but Im not sure if there are any prior to 1969...there is one I could see for 1970..
Patrick Moore interviewed him on the BBC in 1970..

check some of the video links out..that shows the lander crash..that was said to be flown by N.A..

It would take quite a lot of time to rewatch various documentaries about N.A to try to confirm if there were clips shown of him prior to 1969...
or that may show him entering the Lander before it was shown to crash..
but if we do find a version that shows it all..IF the person did have a helmet on.. it would seem we could not prove it was him..
