How many important people have you ever known?  If we look at the personal lives of powerful people, they end up looking very human and not like mad scientist masterminds. I recall getting invited to a cocktail party in Vegas once in which some big corporate types were socializing.  Buzzwords, hype and superficial thinking - all of them.

Hillary couldn't manage a computer or fax machine (in the emails)
Bill Clinton was so ignorant he didn't know about bond markets and interest rates on US debt after he was elected and had to account for his promises (as told by his aides)

Reagan had Alzheimers and the press didn't expose it (Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC)

The NY Times has published surprising errors recently - about guns, religion, politics, etc. (The Federalist)

Trump is simply a more forthright version of what has existed for some time.

They are superficial, empty people, often fueled by drugs, alcohol, risky sex, and are often habitual liars and sociopaths.  Any Illuminati cabal is a loose confederation at best.

I have only ever been in the presence of the odd few elites for short periods..but not at any parties !

Seen Bill Clinton, Trump , Branson at some biz events and actually shook hands with Blair when he was 1st elected when he arrived in a shopping mall I was in at the time...came about totally unexpected..I found out he was in the mall and went in to see if he was visible...next thing I know hes walking towards me and right in front of me..and I was face to face with him..  (At the time many thought that he was a Labour hero Prime minister  after he replaced the Conservative Mrs Thatchers Govt) who most working class despised..

I think the article does show a lot of the possibilities..but its still hard to really believe...or accept..even after having looked into it ..

Who maybe in charge or do they have such plans.. or are there others that we are not aware about....

It maybe that the Important people that you may be referring to in the public eye could be more puppets that we talk about..

Any Mad Scientists would work for the ..P.T.B./ Govt..probably ..or some secret organisation..

But there is no doubt as one gets older / a bit wiser.. if one is also informed I think it may make it more aware..

I do think that there is a whole grade of humans who fit in certain classes....be it Upper , Middle or lower class..

Its hard to explain.. but I think we seem bracketed..and many unable to move out of that..

We have seen History .. Rome as an eg and how the people varied..

Its what I think is down to Intellect, Personality and ones Strength mental or physical../ Both.. and genetics , maybe blood lines..

Its still a mystery to me..

maybe down to luck and who ones family have bred with..

and maybe a form of status..

and I am not in the higher classes and do not think that I would be able to fit in..

Maybe being in the lower classes..one bitches about the higher class...

and it seems annoying that they seem to have more power and control and better lives... :)

although I agree many are messed up with drugs etc..

As for the Elite Controllers.. they maybe like master chess players..

moving the pieces around to their best interest..

If they are Evil intended.. then it maybe what the article shows us could be truth..

They may have reasons why or just are sadist who know that they can do what they like almost and get away with it..

oh and I did see some Elites at the UK Bilderberg event.. as they passed by upon leaving in their Mercs..

May have been Rothchilds...or some one like them..

If there's a group controlling the whole world, would they let other people know about it? I don't think so.

All those things look more like people trying to justify their inability to become more important or rich by pointing to some kind of organisation that controls everything, so they don't have a chance.

doesn't sound very cosmopolitan to me ArMaP.. whatever will you do

from the article , had to laugh at the "Layered sovereignty", hold on let me check that pyramid chart, o yeah I see how that would make a difference :D
Quote3. Objections to Cosmopolitanism

One of the most common objections to cosmopolitanism attacks a position that is in fact made of straw. Often it is said that cosmopolitanism is meaningless without the context of a world-state or that cosmopolitanism necessarily involves the commitment to a world state. These claims are historically uninformed, because cosmopolitanism as a concept arose in the first instance as a metaphor for a way of life and not in literal guise. Ever since, there have been cosmopolitans who do not touch on the issue of international political organization, and of those who do, very few defend the ideal of a world-state. Furthermore, even those cosmopolitans who do favor a world-state tend to support something more sophisticated that cannot be dismissed out of hand, such as a thin conception of world government with layered sovereignty.

The more serious and philosophically interesting challenges to cosmopolitanism come in two main forms. The first calls into question the possibility of realizing the cosmopolitan ideal, while the second queries its desirability. We discuss these two challenges to the different forms of cosmopolitanism in turn.
