Happened around 6:50 AM this morning - about 100 miles off the coast. A little shaking but no damage reported. Then another @ 5.0 a coupe of hours later.
Quakes like this are getting preeeeeeeety close to California disaster territory aren't they? But then, we would not want to ALARM anyone would we!! :)

It is a seismic area , especially over the last few years. One thing I have noticed though ,is they seem to be getting stronger.

No, the question that should be asked is "is there really a correlation between straightline winds (whatever you may mean by that) and earthquakes?"

6.5 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded off the Coast of California
A 6.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Northern California this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS said the quake was about 6.2 miles in depth, with its center some 103 miles west of Ferndale and 281 miles northwest of Sacramento. The USGS initially reported the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.8.
The National Weather Service confirmed the earthquake and said there is no danger of a tsunami for Hawaii.
"Based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected, and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii," the National Weather Service Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, said in a statement.

this is the radar im using.,about 6 hours prior to quake ,a low pressure system slapped a band almost parrallel to coast.
if i catch another,ill post image.then we shall see.
i want to add solomon island keeps having aftershocks and that cali jetstream front or whatever the proper term is has been stationary during this same time period.focussed on streaming across california,now i realize aftershocks are a norm,but lets see if the two subside at same time.

Big ones are usually lead by several small tremors in any region... and looking at the DAILY list of EQ's around the world there are several over 5.0 every day

That's not a jetstream, jetstream are a specific phenomenon, usually more to the north and longer than that.

The satellite images you posted show cloud temperature, higher clouds being colder appear blue on the image, but high clouds move in different ways to loud clouds, as the wind is different at different altitudes. That's why you can see in the link posted by
Phedre (great find!) that at surface level (and up to 1.5 km or 850 hPa) the wind changes to follow the contour of the ground, while the higher altitudes (5 km or 500 hPa) strong winds cross the US from west to east.

Resonance is a reaction to a specific frequency, so for that to happen you would need winds with a specific frequency, the resonance frequency of the tectonic plate. An irregular frequency or a constant wind does not create resonance.
I suppose that for your theory you need to look at charts (like the one
Phedre posted) that show winds at surface level up to (probably) 850 hPa.
PS: looking at the chart I noticed that before the quake from the opening post the winds in that area were from east to west, coming from the land and not against the coast.

Good thing that ArMaP has already debunked with a broad sweep of his skeptic brush all the photos I have presented regarding 'Nibiru' as "lens flares" or one might have 'concern' if any of these photos shared from multiple points around the world do, in fact, present solid proof that there is a planetary system within the solar system. Plus, some of these 'anomalies' are photographed on FAA cams.
But that can't be, as Zorgon has assured us that 'Nibiru' doesn't exist. So what about the 'orbs' in the following video? :P

A week later, the same phenomenon happened in the Middle-Eastern country of Kuwait, when a torrential rain hit the country.
