Nah not Trumps fault Just Ebay But the post office is charging a LOT to ship to Canada and foreign these day
I fixed it Seems I never had international shipping selected on that when I opted out of their "global shipping' option that is even higher that the post office
International rates Canada is group 1

Will get that ou6t this afternoon Thanks

Okay, Zorgon, two mugs in the pipeline.
Shipping is kind of steep. Gimme lots of bubble wrap like micjer. My sister sent me a parlor car mug from the Cumbres & Toltec. It arrived in six pieces.
That sounds ungrateful. I apologize. It's actually reasonable for what you're shipping.
I expect pictures of you guys holding your New Peggy Mugs! 8) ;D

Oh HELL no shipping SUCKS
The dang post office keeps raising rates every 6 months
Ebay has now just made a new deal with Fed Ex I had one rock I had to send out Post office wanted 68.50 economy (parcel post) shipping (30 pounds) Ebay's new FedEx service charged 42.59 and I get 20% off on that
That is one reason it is so hard to sell anything these days I had some glass vintage christmas ornaments weighed 10 ounces in the box Gal is Sweden wanted them Price was only 8.00 shipping 10 ounces to Sweden? $22.50 Its insane
A standard coffee mug weighs just under 1 pound with padding its just over a pound so first class mail now cuts off at 16 ounces Can't ship in a flat rate envelope
On top of that if you mark it fragile they play football with it Just had one item I sent to NY packed in foam blocks The interior was demolished so they had to have used if for football practice. They won't honor the insurance they never do Always find a reason why it doesn't qualify
The high shipping is going to kill online syhopping Just when everyone is doing most of it that way
These cups come in a special cardboard shipping holder I the bubble wrap and use shredded paper Best packing that :D besides damaged goods are refundable :P
Thanks
Lost a really nice art piece that way because customer demands a full refund, you are out the original shipping and if you want it back broken you have to pay shipping back and Ebay sided with the customer as its MY fault it was damaged
Sigh I miss the good old days of going to flea markets :P
I sent my sister some authentic NA pottery bowls a couple of months ago. After the Cumbres & Toltec debacle, I wrapped the crap out of them. There must have been a pound of bubble wrap.
She got them in little pieces and she was, literally, PO'd for weeks. The post office basically told me to f*** off and die. If you put a Fragile sticker on it they cream it.
Flea markets are great. My dad and I scored lots of old books and one year he found a sterling silver commemorative statue celebrating the meeting of the Union Pacific and the Central Pacific at Promontory. Some kid had completely covered it in black crayon, so the guy who had it had no idea.
Big bucks on that thing.
Got the mugs.
As Borat says, "Very nice!"
The miss look nice. I don't do Ebay or PayPal, so I guess I won't be participating. Oh well.

Well that is not a problem :P We still do old school snail mail too In fact just got a check in the mail from one member....
Didn't know anyone else still used checks :D
The only reason I put the mugs on ebay is because i don't have a shopping cart for the website yet. A shopping cart is expensive and needs a server base to operate and a bank to handle the money transactions and they charge
Paypal is safe and easy because people do not need a paypal account, they can pay with a credit card.
Ebay charges 10% of the sale so it would be better not to use them :D but they do give you international exposure
I like paypal for many reasons
1) NO ONE but them sees your account info... so when you use it to pay, your credit card info never goes to the seller. If you set up a small bank account just for paypal, then NOTHING ever touches your main account EVER
2) They give you a DEBIT card that you can use your funds just like a bank card
3) They have paypal credit that allows you to buy now pay later at a very low percentage rate
4) They have a card reader you plug in to your phone so you can accept credit cards anywhere like at a flea market, event or even your yard sale
5) They transfer money to your bank in 1 day If I transfer before midnight it is in my bank by 8am
6) They DO NOT REPORT to the IRS Ebay, Amazon, Etsy, etc do not legally have to report to the IRS until you make over 20,000 a year
So for all those people who complain about banks, taxes and the elite :P WHY are you not onboard?
Anyway if you want a mug Old School way you can send a check :P
I plan to post the address on the main website today I already have it all over the medieval site anyway. No need to buty a PO Box since my address is in the phone book anyway :P
I still aint gotten an answer as to where the cups were made, nor what they are made of. hmmmmm ?
