U.S. President Donald Trump has parted ways with his national security adviser, John Bolton.

Both Trump and Bolton took to Twitter on Tuesday to offer different accounts on exactly how the departure took place.

Trump wrote that he told Bolton on Monday his services were no longer needed at the White House.

"I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the administration," Trump said.

To me this is great news.  This Bolton dude was one warmonger like no other.  Very scary individual

I wouldn't call him a warmonger per se, but he was a bit too hawkest for my liking....I'm glad he's not in a position as he was.
Now it's ok to be a hawk on foreign policy, but when you're a hammer all you see is nails.

A move in the right direction in my view of things; it's cool to have the hammer ready to use, but use discretion instead of blindly swinging away

He seemed to be more of a warmonger a few years ago before taking that position. He seemed to have a hate on for Iran.

Yes you don't want someone too complacent in that position either
