The truth is in there? 'ALL' of the CIA's files on UFOs are now available for download
QuoteThousands of CIA files about unidentified flying objects are now publicly available for download. The agency claims that the trove of documents contains all its information on the unexplained phenomenon.
The documents were published on The Black Vault website, which is run by freedom of information activist John Greenewald Jr.

The downloadable archive is the result of Greenewald submitting 10,000 freedom of information requests over the years and scanning thousands of pages by hand. More than 2.2 million pages have been uploaded to the website.

Some of the reports date back several decades and the CIA claims that the documents represent everything it has on file regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), which is what the US government calls UFOs. However, The Black Vault says there is no way to verify the CIA's claim.

The cache of files has been made available as the clock ticks down on the US government releasing an official UFO report, thanks to a law contained in the Covid-19 omnibus bill.

Not really, the information being published on The Black Vault is the result of FOIA requests, it has no direct connection to the stimulus package.

Also, what the legislation says is that the reports are to be public but they may have classified annexes, so we are back at a situation in which they will make public only what they want.

I consider this, a much more unbelievable claim, than the existence of extraterrestrials itself.

I've gone through a few of them and so far nothing but junk

Have to agree with you there mate, lots of already released and lots of heavily redacted.

Don't want to sound too cynical but probably just more headline fodder for the ongoing public relations exercise (just like GCHQ's attempts on the 'British X files').

UFO lawyer Peter Gersten makes some good points at the beginning of this vid about certain CIA UFO documents which will probably never see the light of day:

Always had a lot of respect for John Greenewald Junior though and it's a bit of an old one but thought this presentation was a very good one.

Cheers.

Good stuff you post Karl 12, it's the highlight of my day reading your post, matey!

Ha well thanks for the kind words amigo and to be honest I don't know if the CIA has ever been truthful when it comes to this subject - they've certainly been engaged in some shady 'behind the scenes' action involving supposedly impartial government UFO investigations though.

Terry Hansen:

Also an interesting doco below from back in the day - apparently the Assistant Director Office of Scientific Intelligence was confirming 'global monitoring and intercept orders for UFOs'.

Recent vid from JGJ where he clears a few things up about the document release and discusses things like 'the illusion of transparency'.

That is exactly what it is.  Agent Smith doesn't give anything away for free.
