Photographer sees a UFO and manages to register it in a photo - Balcarce, Argentina

San José de Balcarce is a mountainous, agricultural, livestock and forest city, head of the homonymous district, in the southeast of the province of Buenos Aires. It is famous for its original desserts and for having the track named after the great champion Juan Manual Fangio, a native of this city. But it's also known for something else: UFO sightings are frequent in its skies.

The most recent case happened last Sunday, December 12th, when a woman approached to do a photographic production at the site. "I live in a field in Colonel Vidal. I was going to Balcarce, which is 60Km away, but 10Km before I stopped on a dirt road because I was looking for a location to do a photographic production for my sweater brand," photographer Luciana Vismara told local media Minuto Balcarce.

"I started to tour the area and spent two or three hours taking pictures and filming. And when I went to photograph Cerro Paulino, I saw something black moving in the distance, above the hill, which had a red light in the center", he added. In the woman's words, the object "(...) disappeared into the clouds in a matter of seconds." However, it was recorded in one of the photos she took that day.

That was also my thought.

Too bad we don't have a better photo or video.

unfortunately there is no way to add a image here unless it is online somewhere...so maybe others with photoshop can see this pretty easily.
Zoomed and edited on photoshop, the image of the "saucer" appears to be added into the background.
The image of the "saucer" shows a defined rectangular border with much larger pixels than the background around it, that doesnt conform the the background image detail and pixelation.
Maybe Im seeing some differential thats not relevant, but Ive seen so many of these images where a simple adjustment with photoshop shows its one image added onto another.
Just my two cents, cheers!

This?

I think it's just a side effect of too much JPEG compression. We can see the same type of effect whenever there's a change in colour, like in the trees in front of the sky.

If the block has a size that is a multiple of 8 then it's most likely a JPEG artefact, as that's the size of the JPEG blocks.

Thanks ArMap for the ability to share images, heres what I came up with using Photoshop editing in 8bit jpeg.
I did slight highlight and shadows, a sharpen, shifted the hue and decreased the saturation a bit...then a slight curves to accent the edges.
It just seemed to look as if the saucer image was copied in and the edges blended to some degree on the right(stepped) and just a hard line on the left which wasnt blended as well or at all.
As is possible always...I could be completely wrong 🙂
At any rate when will come the day where someone is using a Nikon Mirrorless camera and wide angle lens when a UFO appears lol instead of blurry and shaky iphone images we always seem to get?
