Is Twitter Down for You Too?

I noticed I hadn't received a tweet in half an hour - which, for a Thursday noonish (here) is freaky-strange.  So I reloaded and got this message:

This webpage is not available

Google Chrome's connection attempt to twitter.com was rejected. The website may be down, or your network may not be properly configured.


Here are some suggestions:

• Reload this webpage later.
• Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using.
• Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
• If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the wrench menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.

Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection.

In the last 20 minutes, that is all I get.

AnyOne else having Twitter issues?

Well, it's back up...but acting weird.  Many of My RT's and tweets are getting error messages and not going through...

EDIT to add...  And now it's down for Me again!

EDIT again...  Back up.  Seems to let Me RT...  We'll see what happens.

It's likely a server issue  we get them here once in a while too

Yeah, just got word "its random servers down everywhere real strange" from a Twitter cohort.

EDIT to add: From same cohort:  "most of the probs were Asia and USA hmmm"

EDIT again: "UK having probs as well"

EDIT:  From another cohort: "two banks having issues conveniently all day. No cash out. Wonder if they about To crash it!"

EDIT:  And now it's down again.  We were just speculating: Maybe down to prevent a run on banks...  Hmmmm.

Oh, and z, of course I can survive.  Just rather freaky is all.
