Thats a small section of Area 51 where they they housed the Alien Craft back- engineering project for a while until somebody spilled the beans.  ;D

Thanks, A51Watcher:)

I always wonder why people use abbreviations/acronyms/whateverisms as if everybody knows the same things they do.

Maybe I should start to create my own whateverisms. ;D

I know it's not the same thing, but in Portugal, a man with a hammer and a good supply of small (some 5 x 5 x 5 cm) limestone blocks can make a pavement with some 10 x 10 metres in half a day,

Your right its not the same thing... not even close. Its like comparing an apple to an elephant

Archaeologists claim that the Great Pyramid was built in approx 20 years. They have the number of stones approximately. so by math they can tell how many stones needed to be set daily to meet that time frame...

Archaeologists claim that they only used copper chisels and wooden mallets to cut these huge stones out of a quarry 500 miles away

I simply want anyone to show me how you can do that with a COPPER chisel and WOOD mallet and get a smooth even finish that a knife blade will not go between

And unless you have picked up a hammer and chisel and tried to work a piece of stone don't talk to me :P

Showing me a man laying small pebbles in a mosaic is a cop out  nothing more,

Just go outside and find a piece of granite and whack at it with a COPPER chisel and WOOD mallet and report your results :D

But ArMaP...

Over at that other place you have a badge that says FSME... when you click on that badge it says Forum Subject Matter Expert and says yours is UFOs...

Now how can you be a UFO expert and not know what S4 stands for?

::)

Not really, as an elephant can eat an orange but the orange cannot eat the elephant, while breaking rocks is breaking rocks.

Really? I thought they also say that they used stone hammers (or something like that) to shape the rocks.

QuoteI simply want anyone to show me how you can do that with a COPPER chisel and WOOD mallet and get a smooth even finish that a knife blade will not go between
For that I need two rocks. :)
And why must I be limited to what other people say? Why can't I be creative with how I do it?

Only with a hammer, files and other stones. :)

I guess you missed the part where I said that they cut the rocks with the shape they need with the hammer; they hold the piece of rock on the left hand and give one or two sharp blows with the hammer to cut the rock to the shape they want.

Although I'm not thinking about using a copper chisel (where could I get one?) I am really thinking of trying it, that's why I got a piece of granite from my street. :)

I have more important things to memorise. :)
