Were planes of Military Origin?

I'm assuming we're talking about a military version of the Boeing planes or something that looks very much like them.  I think it makes a remote control theory much easier, particularily if a smaller drone was used for the Pentagon strike.  That said, however:

If military planes/drones were used, why did they shoot down Flight 93?

If the planes were just holograms, why didn't they use the correct Boeing planes instead of these military models, as seen or photographed?

I think I can answer one of my own questions:  they may have developed some problem with 93 and were forced to destroy it.

It would be absolutely critical in such a drone scenario to be able to explode the aircraft involved to avoid the exposure of the entire faked attack. You wouldn't an intact aircraft ruining the entire scam.

I wonder if anyone has been able to measure the downed or clipped poles/signs around the Pentagon site with regard to the size or wingspan of the aircraft.
