Half of the world's food is thrown away? Come on, supermarkets: give us 'imperfection'

With so much food claimed to be wasted around the World...

Its hard to believe that anyone can be unable to feed themselves or have to sacrifice so many things to feed their families in these hard times.

All the food that that gets discarded or rejected in the Western world by the likes of supermarkets , just because it does not look up to standards.

Ok some will go to Animal feed or Fertilizer..

but So much of this could be sold cheaper ( or passed on to food banks for the needy especially in hard times) , yet it is just thrown away.
