Ah, the sweet pain of great humor is that it's all true!  I've seen these characters in the cartoons before movies and  love their multinational jibber-jabber but didn't know they had names.

To be really honest, i found those films just plain silly, but then no more silly than Monty Python or other stuff that i watch.
