Yeh Elvis, they ran that Doco Here a while back.
Funny that the English and French have been at each others throats for most of history and it came to that in the Second World War.
Not much really the English could do otherwise, to prevent the ships falling into Nazi hands. As it turned out the Krauts were there within hours to commandeer the ships, only to find them in flames.
Hitler commented that he never would have expected Churchill to do something so excessive!
These types of actions won us the war :)

Yea quite a gutsy move from a gutsy bloke.
It was quite a shock to me as i was totally unaware of the episode.
I think il post a bit more WW2 stuff.
