It would help to know what that Mark Nelson person was answering to, that way we only know that he was saying that something was true. :)

Mark was replying to the issue of NASA chips LOL He confirmed NASA has access to those radiation hardened chips, hence the

"More significantly though is they learned how to radiation harden chips which NASA uses."

That should have been pretty obvious as it is in clear English

I know they have radiation hardened chips, some days ago I posted about Curiosity's computer on another forum, and the processor is a RAD750 from BAE Systems, a radiation hardened version of the PowerPC 750 chip.

PS: sometimes, clear English is what confuses me the most. ;D

I'll get back to you on this soon.  I've decided to become an "expert" on this topic.

Well Herr Expert to Be....

Put it together and I will copy it to the web

I have Russian plasma experiment in space that shows a duble helix forms

I have the LEO Charging documents that show how the tether maintained a continuous arc and glowed like a fluorescent tube until it went into shadow (Direct from NASA :P)

Since the tether is collecting electrons what happens if an astronaut is in a space walk and touches the ship?  Perhaps a ZZAPPPPP enough to fry him?  Hmmmmm I wonder

What happens when the Shuttle approaches the ISS... is there a giant spark that leaps out between the ships?  Hmmm well there would be right?  ZZZAPPPP

NASA says so :P

I suppose that should have been "O meu português está enferrujado". :)

I'm off cycling for the weekend.  I'll be chasing you for that information Monday.
