ps I forgot to say to click on the pics to enlarge  ;D

this will be post 3700 for me and that adds to a number 1.. in numerology 1 is a beginning.. so I will start anew
and in the garden.. where I always smile

I have lived long enough to know that
> what you  FOCUS on is what you get
> what goes around – comes around.. and it seems to be on a fast track  recently

I don't know why folks from one place (forum-neighborhood-city-country-gov, etc) want to
poke at others of the same definition when there is absolutely nothing to gain and one hell of a lot to loose

the retelling of  horrible things without an attempt at  making a change is darkly negitive
and karma really will bite you in the ass...I hope some are listening..

last week I think some of the negative followed me home.. I just wanted to go inside, close the door and hide under the covers
but then I started to laugh at myself and it went away.. and I made sure it would stay away

don't get me wrong.. my life isn't perfect  but when it gets to me I fall back on being grateful for the abundance in my life

even if that abundance is crazy forum antics..because that will eventually make me laugh and laughter is healing

do you guys  remember the old red rover game where you had two lines of kids facing each other
and one side would yell     ...   red rover * red rover we dare  'mikey'  over
and then 'mikey' had to run  towards the challenging line and break thur the kids holding hands to stop him
try and break thur the line.... if he didn't break thur the line he became part of the line

so I yell to you.. red rover*  red rover   I dare you  guys to come over  to my line of joyous wonder at where we are on this rock

... don't expect to break thur either..you will be assimulated
bwhahahahahahaha

and since I like to do it with photos

EN~JOY....SMILE.... and HUG THE Baddies..makes em crazy

some current food that I grew that makes me joyous

5# of yukon gold turned into 30 # after a stint in the dirt.. ;)

elderberries.. from cuttings
do you know the  history of this plant or it's medicinal uses

got 8 cups  of cleaned berries for jam and cordial..still more work but yum
and see those honey jars on the counter..that's tomorrow's job
to extract about 30 lbs  and bottle it.. double yum

meet one of my walnut trees..this one is a boy and was a gift that came in a 3 # coffee can years ago

going to be a record production this year

crabapples.. agift from a pssing deer  8) ...they were the pectin of the homesteaders

chestnuts..our last tree....also a gift  way back

echinacea.. from a seed pack that only grew 6 original plants
they are under the walnut trees and along what was my big garden

and then  real joy in just taking pics of some of what  we share this space with every day

spider webs in the hemlock after a rain...beautiful and different methods to catch food

birds

a rat in a fur coat

one of our fat feral cats

ok so if ya wanna call me pollyanna..I will consider it a compliment
cause I can look around and always find the joy
some of it is in taking the pics and sharin
I hope I have been able to share joy with ya

big hugs of joy to all of you :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Just wonderful pictures of your bountiful garden, thanks for sharing!
The one with the cat on the rocks is awesome, and the rat with
fur is too funny! Oh, love your walnut tree, thats a gem.

:)

Thank you for sharing, I am one big fan!
P.S. love the birds too!

Ahhhhh....the joys of what nature has to offer.  It looks so peaceful there!  Nice garden!
From the past into the future any way I can...Educating...informing....guiding.

:o Great growing Sky. Beautiful garden and bountiful too. Gardening/Farming is a wonderful skill to have and share! Thanks!
Bringing forth food from the earth (unlike currency) is a TRUE value! As are other skills/abilities that some people posses.
It would be a tremendous accomplishment and a substantial step toward the betterment of us all, if we could teach people to grow on/in and with the Earth. Indeed it may be the only way to survive in the not so far future.

Thanks for the glimpse at your garden, Sky.   8)
