First few photos make it stand out but the one Armap posted not as much. Appears to capture the light differently? Smoother finish along the faces compared to the other smaller rocks?

WHAT DOES EVERYONE SEE HERE?? Are you "just seeing a rock"??

When an anomaly is posted, it is normal for viewers to post what they see, or don't see, especially if the OP poster doesn't discuss what he/she posted.

Well, in my opinion with this photo, the rock itself is secondary, as it is pretty easy to see that something other than "rock" is wrapped/hanging/draped around on that rock. It has the look of several earthly things, but not rock. It looks like some sort of pliable/woven/cloth/etc material. Well OF COURSE, not supposed to be anything like that on Mars is there? But it is, right there in the photo - no "cosmic streak" messy photo - just fairly clear evidence of intelligent design/life on Mars, doncha think??!!!!

Can anyone possibly "explain away" the "material looking feature" that is on that rock, and is so obvious in the photo??  :))

LOL no one here to post these days :P

But yeah it doesn't look like a typical rock :D

I will look closer tomorrow  see if I can find other shots

That's because the first photos had the contrast increased, most people do that to "better show what they see", ignoring (or on purpose) that doing it destroys part of the original data, as it reduces the number of colours on the photo.

Yes, it looks like a different type of rock, with a broken side facing the camera but without the piece that appears to have been broken anywhere in the scene.

Yes I can see that they bumped the contrast way up but also shows that the rock could be reflective? I get the impression that one face is reflecting an image of the rocks facing it? Maybe my eyes playing tricks on me but the bumped contrast image points it out more. Could just be shadows on the uneven surface me thinks.

What ya think?

I think they are shadows, a reflection would show the bright rocks just in front of that rock.
