As I have stated before when discussing the Viking findings and also the methane spikes from curiosity.  I believe both findings could well indicate life.

I agree completely with the conclusions of the authors of the paper.  This part sums it up:

The purpose of this article is to consider recent findings about martian water, methane, and organics that impact the case for extant life on Mars. Further, the biological explanation of the LR and recent nonbiological hypotheses are evaluated. It is concluded that extant life is a strong possibility, that abiotic interpretations of the LR data are not conclusive, and that, even setting our conclusion aside, biology should still be considered as an explanation for the LR experiment.

When someone(s) actually starts "boots on the ground" searching on Mars, they will likely find evidence of a much more advanced Martian life, local or alien! Of course, any life forms there on Mars from Earth will be considered "alien life forms" to Mars won't they??

I wonder if that expedition will bring along a bible....nah, dont want to get started on the wrong foot..or flipper..or claw..Martians you know.

Id guess there are plentiful options to explain Mars' history left there for us to find, problem is, noone seems intent on finding anything but rocks and dust who has been there so far...or at least noone is sharing what they have found.

If it is "humans" making the trip to Mars, many who are Christians will likely take their "digital" Bibles right along along with them, as their God is God of the Universe, and this journey will not be just a trip to the grocery store!!

.........and whether you can see it or not, there has been plenty of stuff that is other than "rocks and dust" posted - even just here at Pegasus!!
