U. S. Navy Flight Engineer Saw Silver Discs and Entrance
to Alleged E. T.and Human Collaboration Base in Antarctica.

"Talk among the flight crews was that there is a UFO base at South Pole and some of the crew heard talk from some of the scientists working at the Pole of E.T.s working with and interacting with the scientists at that air sampling camp/large ice hole."
- Brian, retired U. S. Navy Flight Engineer

May 5, 2016 / Original January 30, 2015 Albuquerque, New Mexico - On January 2, 2015, I received the email below from a retired U. S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Flight Engineer, who asked me to only call him "Brian." His high strangeness experiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica were in the 1983 to 1997 time period and included several observations of aerial silver discs darting around over the Transantarctic Mountains. He and his crew also saw a big hole in the ice only about five to ten miles from the geographic South Pole (pink circle on map) that was supposed to be a No Fly Zone. But during an emergency medevac situation, they entered the No Fly Zone and saw what they were not supposed to see: an alleged entrance to a human and E. T. science research base created under the ice. Then at a camp near Marie Byrd Land, some dozen scientists disappeared for two weeks and when they re-appeared, Brian's flight crew got the assignment to pick them up. Brian says they would not talk and "their faces looked scared."

Brian and his flight crew received several orders at different times to not talk and were sternly told that they didn't see what they saw. But he was never asked to sign an official non-disclosure statement. So now that he's retired, he has decided to share what he has seen and experienced because he knows non-humans are working on this planet.

Hi Linda

I am a retired United States Navy LC130 Flight Engineer that retired after 20 years of service in 1997. I have been wanting to write you for a long time about my experience on the Antarctic continent with flying vehicles that I was told not to talk about. I served part of my 20 years in the Navy with a Squadron called Antarctic Development Squadron Six or VXE-6 as it was also known. I served with this squadron from around 1983 till I retired March of 1997. Being a flight engineer and flying more then 4000 hours in that capacity I have seen things that most people have not even imagined on the Continent of Antarctica. The land there seems more alien then earthly. Our deployments to this land started in late September and ended the end of February every year until the Squadron was decommissioned in 1999. This time of year was the summer season when most of the science was done do to warmer temps and 24 hours of daylight.

During my time in the squadron I flew to almost every part of the Antarctic Continent including the South Pole more the 300 times. McMurdo Station which is 3.5 hours of flying time from the South Pole station was the point of squadron operation during our yearly deployments. Between these two stations is a mountain range called the Trans Antarctic's. With what we called Severe Clear weather from McMurdo to South Pole the Trans Antarctic's are visible from the altitudes which the aircraft flew approximately 25,000 to 35,000 feet. On several flights to and from South Pole our crew viewed air vehicles darting around the tops of Trans Antarctic's almost exactly in the same spot every time we would fly by and view them. This is very unusual for air traffic down there due to the fact that the only aircraft flying on the continent were our squadron aircraft. Every aircraft knew where the other aircraft were do to flight schedules being followed.

Another unique issue with South Pole station is that our aircraft was not allowed to fly over a certain area designated 5 miles from the station. The reason stated because of a air sampling camp in that area. This did not make any sense to any of us on the crew because on 2 different occasions we had to fly over this area. One time due to a medical evacuation of the Australian camp called Davis Camp. It was on the opposite side of the continent and we had to refuel at South Pole and a direct course to this Davis Camp was right over the air sampling station. The only thing we saw going over this camp was a very large hole going into the ice. You could fly one of our LC130 into this thing.

It was after this medevac mission we where briefed by some spooks (Intelligence Agents I presumed) from Washington DC and told not to speak of the area we overflew. The other time we got close to "The air sampling Camp" we had navigation and electrical failures on the aircraft and was told to immediately depart the area and report to our squadron commanding officer when we returned to McMurdo. Needless to say our pilot (Aircraft Commander) got his butt chewed and our crew was not on the South Pole supply run for over a month. There were many other times we saw things that was out of the ordinary.

One outlying camp (near Marie Byrd Land) we dropped scientists and their equipment at was out of communication with McMurdo for 2 weeks. Our crew flew back to the camp to find out if the scientists were ok. We found no one there and no sign of any fowl play. The Radio was working fine as we called McMurdo to verify it working properly. We left the camp and flew back to McMurdo as ordered by our CO. A week later the Scientist showed back up to there camp and called McMurdo for someone to come pick them up. Our crew got the flight back there to pick them since we put them into that camp and we knew the terrain and location. None of the scientists would talk to any of the crew on the plane and to me they looked scared.

As soon as we landed back at McMurdo they (Scientists) where put on another of our squadron aircraft and flown to Christchurch New Zealand. We never heard about them again. Their equipment that we brought back from the camp was put in quarantine and shipped back to the United States escorted by the same spooks that debriefed us about our fly over of the air sample camp/ large hole in the ice. I could go on and on about things and situations that I observed during my tour with VXE-6. Talk among the flight crews was that there is a UFO base at South Pole and some of the crew heard talk from some of the scientist working at the Pole of EBEs working with and interacting with the scientists at that air sampling camp/large ice hole.

Brian, now 59, graduated from an Iowa college with an associate's degree in aviation maintenance technology and an aviation certificate. In 1977, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served for twenty years until his retirement in 1997. He provided Earthfiles his DD-214 documents and other certificates of service including this Antarctic Service Medal given to him on November 20, 1984.

One sunny day in December 1995, Brian and his C-130 flight crew were on a mission from McMurdo Station to the South Pole. They were flying over the Transantarctic Mountains near Beardmore Glacier when they all saw shiny discs darting rapidly and stopping repeatedly around the mountain peaks, but never going over the glacier itself.

Brian, 59, retired U. S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Flight Engineer, describing high strangeness events primarily in the 1995 to 1996 time period: "We were only about 10,000 feet above those mountains tops and all we could see on the initial sighting was the shiny reflection in the silvery things darting around down there.

I remember turning to my aircraft commander and pilot and saying, 'What are those things down there?' He got on the intercom and said, 'Well, they are not ours — that's all I can tell you.'

WHAT WERE YOU SEEING IN TERMS OF SHAPE AND MOVEMENT?

The movement was very — I don't want to say jerky, but sporadic. The shiny objects, which I would say from our altitude looked circular and they would sprint to maybe three or four mountain tops. Then they would stop. Then maybe one or two would come up and meet it and then they would start off in another direction. It was always over the Transantarctic Mountain range. They never went over the Beardmore Glacier either.

at 125 miles long and 25 miles wide, was not far from where Brian and his Naval Flight
crew repeatedly saw round, silver discs dart around in the Transantarctic Mountain peaks,
but never over the Beardmore Glacier and not toward their C-130. Image by USGS.

DID ANY ONE OF THEM EVER APPROACH YOUR PLANE?

No, they were always below us, always stayed below us. We were told not to talk among ourselves other than just the crew. And just seeing those things down there, and being told that those aren't our aircraft, is kind of mind blowing, while the fact is, 'Hey, what are these things? Why doesn't anybody else know about this?'

Huge Hole in Ice Near South Pole -
An E.T. and Human Lab Collaboration?

We had a mission we had to do at an Australian camp called Davis Camp. In order to get there, we had to fly to South Pole to re-fuel our aircraft and then from there, we could fly all the way out to Davis Camp. We were told that we needed to get an airplane out there, a rescue medevac (medical evacuation) because one of the workers there had been burned badly in a boiler fire. So we were trying to get there as fast as we could. We're talking a six hour flight — 3.5 hours to South Pole and then another three hours from South Pole to Davis Camp.

The No Fly Zone's big hole (red X Hole) in the ice was only about 5-10 miles from the
geographic South Pole (pink circle at crosshairs). Three more hours by air beyond the
South Pole is the Australian Davis Station.

Davis is the most southerly Australian Antarctic station and is situated 2250 nautical miles south-south-west of Perth, on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elizabeth Land. Davis Camp is 6 hours by air from the South Pole. There's an area on the opposite side of South Pole that was a No Fly Zone. That No Fly Zone, we were told, was an air sampling station that we couldn't fly over because it would contaminate their air sampling with our jet exhaust, which is kind of ridiculous because we fly kind of high! (laughs) If you are air sampling, you're air sampling at the ground.

Anyway, we were on our way over to that medevac and so we basically did a straight line. And when we got about five to ten miles from South Pole on the way to Davis Camp, we were told on the radio not to continue our straight line course, but to deviate a certain amount. Somebody mentioned, 'Hey, there's an air sampling system somewhere out here somewhere, you know?'

We looked down and here's this huge, large hole in the ice, almost like a cave entrance, but it was large enough that you could fly a C-130 into it, a hole that went down. We were told not to fly that area.

We continued our mission and picked up our medical emergency and turned around and came back and had to come back to South Pole to re-fuel, and when we got close to that air sampling again, we were told to deviate this way so many miles and then turn back on course. So we got fuel at South Pole, made our way back to McMurdo, landed and the entire crew was told to report to the Skipper's office.

We all got sat in this room and this guy came in that nobody had seen before. The only way I can describe him is kind of an intelligence-gathering type of an individual. We were sat down and he said, 'OK, you guys saw this thing. But you did not see it.'

AND HE MEANS THE BIG, DEEP HOLE?

Yeah, the big hole in the ice that supposedly was the air sampling station. We were told to not talk about it — ever! And that area was considered off limits for research.

IN YOUR EMAIL TO ME, YOU WROTE TOWARD THE END, 'TALK AMONG THE FLIGHT CREWS WAS THAT THERE IS A UFO BASE AT THE SOUTH POLE AND SOME OF THE CREW HEARD TALK FROM SOME OF THE SCIENTISTS WORKING AT THE POLE OF 'EBES,' AN ACRONYM FOR EXTRATERRESTRIAL BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES WORKING WITH THE SCIENTISTS AT THEIR AIR SAMPLING CAMP — WHICH IS THE LARGE HOLE IN THE ICE.'

Yeah, yeah, it's funny, you know, because we are told not to talk among ourselves officially. But the guys after a flight, they go to a club and, you know, you have a few beers and you're talking and it's like, 'I heard these scientists talking about that there's some guys there at South Pole that were working with these strange-looking 'men.' Of course, they put it that way so they weren't saying, you know, 'alien' or 'extraterrestrial,' or whatever. And that the air sampling station was actually a joint base with the scientists and the E.T.s that were working out of there (big hole in ice).

ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT WAS ACTUALLY GOING ON DOWN IN THAT BIG HOLE IN THE ICE?

All the talk that was heard between the scientists was being overheard by one of the flight crew that was there, the guy saying, 'Hey, two guys were talking in there and they were talking about these scientists that are going out to the air sampling area again to do their meet up with these E.T.s that were there.'

Missing Scientists At Camp in Marie Byrd Land

"This is the camp in Marie Byrd Land where all the scientists went missing for two weeks.
And when we finally picked them up again, "their faces looked scared." Image courtesy Brian.

IN YOUR EMAIL TO ME, YOU SAID, 'NONE OF THE SCIENTISTS WOULD TALK TO ANY OF THE CREW ON THE PLANE AND THEY LOOKED SCARED.'

That was a mission that concerned a camp that we had put in out on a plateau. It was probably a 2.5 hour trip from McMurdo and it was out in the middle of nowhere. We put this crew out there and dropped them off with all this science gear. It was that team that we set out there that McMurdo had lost communication with. They (McMurdo) hadn't heard anything from those guys — it must have been a week or two weeks. You're supposed to check in every so often by radio to tell McMurdo that everything is OK. You can't just pick up a landline, so you have to do all radio communication.

So after those two weeks when they (scientists) had not been heard of, we got sent back out there to see where they were. Well, when we got out there, there's nobody around. All the equipment was still there. There were some snow mobiles there. But the entire camp (of scientists) was gone.

We called McMurdo on their (camp's) radio to make sure that the radio was working and we could hear McMurdo fine. When we took off from there to go back to McMurdo, we kind of did a 15-mile circle around that camp to see if we could see them from the air or see any signs of any trails or anything going off. We didn't see anything! So we go back to McMurdo.

A week later, supposedly these scientists had gotten back to camp and they got on the radio and said, 'Hey, we're back here and want to be picked up.' And we went back in there, loaded up all their stuff, put them in the aircraft. We got the scientists in there and they all got set down in the back. Being the engineer on the airplane after we got airborn and stable, I went back looking around. And the looks fon these people's faces was just (laughs) — they looked scared is what they looked.

And I asked my load master, 'Where have these guys been?'

And he said, 'I don't know. I can't get any words out of them. They just kind of sit there.' A couple of them, he said, he had like blank stares. He offered them food and stuff and nobody would take anything.

So, we get back to McMurdo and unload their gear. Passengers always have a separate ride to where the National Science Foundation chalet is and all the science support areas and all that. And their camp cargo, we were told to put it on this big sledge and then this tractor would pull it back up to McMurdo. Then their camp equipment was put in a separate building and nobody was allowed in there. So, basically it was put in isolation. 'OK, this is kind of weird. Why is that stuff being isolated?'

Must have been probably a week later that we found out, with everybody talking in the camp — all the civilians because all the scientists were civilians and a lot of support people there, civilian. The military, there was our squadron. They (civilians) were all talking and you could hear people, 'Yeah, those guys went back to Christchurch (New Zealand).

[Editor's Note: Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, and the country's third-most populous urban area. It lies one third of the way down the South Island's east coast.]

Nobody said anything and all sorts of weird stuff going on. They even had a special flight for these guys (scared scientists). One of our aircraft — that's all that was on it was them. None of their gear. Just their luggage and their survival gear that everybody wears and they were taken back to Christchurch.

Well, all of their gear that squadron had put into storage isolation area all got put on another airplane all by itself — no other cargo — and it got flown back to Christchurch. And that was the last that we ever heard of that.

NO WORDS OUT OF THESE SCIENTISTS?

Not to my knowledge. I mean, our crew didn't hear anything.

HOW MANY WERE THERE?

At least ten, maybe fifteen (scared scientists).

WERE THEY ALL MALE?

No, there was at least one female, and maybe two.

AM I UNDERSTANDING CORRECTLY THAT EACH OF THE SCIENCE GROUPS THAT YOU GUYS FLEW IN AND OUT OF THE ANTARCTIC BASE, THEY KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO WORK WITH EXTRATERRESTRIAL BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES DOWN IN THAT BIG HOLE?

I'm sure it was all compartmentalized. There was only a certain select group of scientists that did that job and nobody else was privy to that information or going to that area. And what somebody had overheard was that there was an installation, a joint venture, at Pole, not necessarily at the South Pole station but in the vicinity of South Pole. They were conducting some kind of project.

BETWEEN EXTRATERRESTRIAL BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES AND THE HUMAN SCIENTISTS.

Correct. And everybody was speculating. It was like, 'Man, what did these guys see? Why were they gone for two weeks that nobody knew where they were?'

It was like, 'Man, these people are kind of freaked out about something.' They just wanted to get out of there.

AND THE FACT THAT THEY DISAPPEARED FOR TWO WEEKS.

Right. It was like, 'Are we going back out there in a couple of weeks to bring out dead bodies? Or what are we doing?' But it was hushed up pretty good.

It makes you wonder, like OK, so what is our government and other governments doing that we don't know about that's going on down there with visitors from somewhere else? And what possibly is still going on down there?"

Perhaps Admiral Byrd was not crazy like the Navy wanted folks to believe.

Then again perhaps Admiral Byrd had nothing to do with the craziness that was attached to his name by others -

The Missing Secret Diary of Admiral Byrd - Fact or Fiction?

This Report does not address the existence of a hollow globe with entrances at both ends. Nor will we be looking for proof that Admiral Richard E. Byrd discovered or explored unknown lands in the interior of our planet. This report is looking into only two questions.

(1) Did Admiral Byrd make a flight to the North Pole in February of 1947?

(2) Is the so-called "secret diary" of Admiral Byrd that has been circulating amongst those of us who are interested in the Hollow Earth Theory since the late 70s in fact a true account of that alleged flight?

As a youngster in the late 50s I became very interest in the exploits of the world's last great explorer Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd.

I read everything I could get my hands on regarding the Arctic and Antarctic explorations of this great hero of the time. To my surprise and delight ten years later, when my research into the origin of UFOs led me to the study of The Hollow Earth, I again ran into my childhood hero, The Admiral.

Once again I studied the exploits of this extraordinary man. A few years ago I decided to compile and bring up to date everything I could having to do with The Admirals involvement in the HollowEarth/Subterranean story.

However, I found one thing that disturbed me.

Somewhere along the way there had been added an expedition that no history book had even mentioned ... a 1947 Arctic expedition.

By this time I was aware of the cover-up of the real reasons for the Admirals Arctic and Antarctic expeditions.

I was also aware of Admiral Byrd's connections to the Illuminati and their plans for a New World Order and of his early Arctic and Antarctic explorations having been financed by their paymaster, John D. Rockefeller and his pals. I'll be covering these aspects in future reports in this series.

I also realized that in the massive cover-up about the Admiral's true reasons for his trips north and south it could be possible that he went to the Arctic in February of 1947, but for what purpose? He had already, as they say today, "been there – done that."

Another problem: February is the dead of winter in the Arctic with it's well known 24 hours of darkness and unpredictable flying weather. However, the biggest negative ruling out a February 1947 Arctic expedition by Admiral Byrd was the indisputable fact that he was smack dab in the middle of the command of his life – "Operation Highjump," the most extensive Antarctic expedition in the world.

The operation made front-page headlines around the world with reports about the Admirals personal movements broadcast around the world daily from January 2nd until his return to America on April 14th 1947.

This would have made a North Polar flight during this time damn near impossible. So, the question we need to answer is: Where did the story of a February 1947 Arctic expedition actually come from?

The first mention of a 1947 North Polar flight by the Admiral can be found in the book Worlds beyond the Poles: Physical Continuity of the Universe (1959) by a controversial self-proclaimed scientist, F. Amadeo Giannini.

On page 13 of his book under the heading "The Changing Scene 1927-1947" he presents a list of things that happened during those years to support his theory. One of the entries is:

"1947: February "I'd like to see that land beyond the pole. The area beyond the pole is the center of the great unknown." – Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd before his seven-hour flight over land beyond the North Pole."

Not only was this the first time a 1947 flight ever mentioned, but this also seems to be the origin of this often used quote attributed to Admiral Byrd and used by Hollow Earthers constantly to prove their point.

The actual source of this quote was probably an article that appeared in the October 1947 National Geography Magazine titled "Our Navy Explores Antarctica," in which the Admiral refers several times to the "Mystery Land beyond The Pole" although not in the sequence of words presented by Mr. Giannini. And most importantly of all ... Byrd was talking about Antarctica.

Contrary to popular belief, Giannini was not a believer in the Hollow Earth. Nor is his book, Worlds beyond the Poles, a Hollow Earth book. As Walter Kafton-Minkel reported in his excellent book on the history of the belief in a Hollow/Subterranean world Subterranean Worlds (1989):
"As a young man in 1926, Giannini had been wandering through a New England forest when he had a vision. Guided by "his extrasensory perception" he suddenly realized that the earth was not round, but sort of spindle-shaped, and that the North and South Poles were illusory points. The earth's surface, he perceived did not end at the points of the spindle but continued into space and curved back over our heads. What looked like stars, planets, galaxies and comets were actually "globular and isolated areas of a continuous and unbroken outer sky surface."

This meant that these seemingly "heavenly" bodies weren't heavenly at all, but points of the vast land surface of the universe, part of which was the earth's surface. There was no need to develop rockets to explore space, wrote Giannini for "space" was an illusion created by the refraction of the lenses of our eyes, telescopes and cameras. All we needed to do to reach Mars or Venus was to climb into an airplane (or amphibious vehicle) with a very large tank of gas and fly (or drive) there. When Admiral Byrd flew beyond the poles he had proven Giannini correct – the earth did not end at the poles, but continued into "vast new lands."
(Page 195)

Immediately following the publication of Giannini's book the heated debates about a February 1947 North Polar Flight began and the argument has continued until today.

It's all in The New York Times

By 1961 the controversy had reached the point, particularly in the pages of Ray Palmer's Flying Saucer magazine, that in the February 1961 issue of that magazine in an article titled,
"Byrd Did Make North Pole Flight In Feb. 1947 – Giannini," editor Ray Palmer made a challenge to Mr. Giannini.

Undoubtedly this [article] will lead to still further action on the part of Mr. Giannini, whose place in this weird question of the mystery surrounding both Poles must certainly be settled in the pages of this magazine. Thus we invite Mr. Giannini to use all the space he needs in our pages to present his case – which as we see it is to produce the proof with which he backed up his book and the information concerning Byrd that he has presented."
(Page 4)

However, Giannini never took Mr. Palmer up on his challenge. In fact Mr. Giannini never presented his proof anywhere. His stock answer to any inquiries was "You can find all the information in The New York Times."

I have spent many hours at the Jacksonville Public Library reading through the microfilm files of The New York Times, carefully studying every account having to do with Admiral Byrd, the Arctic and Antarctica for the years surrounding 1947. While I do believe there is an important connection to what was taking place in the Northern Polar area during 1947 and The Admiral's "Operation Highjump" at the South Pole, nowhere can I find any indication that Admiral Byrd was personally involved in the secret Arctic missions of 1947. (I'm still researching the 1947 missions of both poles during 1947 and will report on them in due time.)

However, I will say that for Admiral Byrd to have gone to the North Pole in February of 1947 would have been like Eisenhower leaving the European front to check on General MacArthur's doings in the Philippines. Then why did Giannini insist that Byrd made this fictional trip? A fact which, when studied closely, could discredit his whole book – even his theory. Walter-Kafton-Minkel explained it away as simply shoddy research. My research indicates there could be a more sinister reason.

Giannini and the One Worlder Connection

As I've reported in the series regarding Admiral Byrd's exploits of 1925-1935, he had definite ties to the One Worlders, i.e. John D. and his pals. (THEI Volume 1.) Giannini claims to have been encouraged in his work by such well known people of his time as William Cardinal O'Connell, Archbishop of Boston; Dr. Robert Andrews Millikan, President, California Institute of Technology (Pasadina California); The Rev. Professor Jerome S. Riccard, S.J., Physicist & Seismologist, Santa Clara University (California), among others. He also claims that he was instrumental in causing the 1928 Expedition to the North Pole of the famous explorer Capt. Sir George Hubert Wilkins.

The question arises, how could a man with the ideas of F.Amadeo Giannini have any influence over men of this statute? The following sentence taken from one of Giannini's own letters to a Mr. Ogden who was challenging the 1947 North Polar flight might say more that he planed. The letter from Giannini to Ogden was published in the February 1961 issue of Flying Saucer magazine.
(Excerpt)

"This author [Giannini] cares not a little how you, or Palmer, or Palmer's magazine, use the name, Giannini. But inasmuch as the name has been known and respected for more than 60 years, from Vancouver to San Diego – due to the activity of the late Amadeo Peter Giannini of bank of Italy and Bank of America fame..."

His family owned the Bank of Italy and the Bank of America! If, as my research seems to indicate, it is the One Worlders plan to hide what is going on at the earth's poles, what better way to cloud the water, so to speak, than to have one of their own, an admitted member of an international banking family toss in a controversy, such as this phony trip by Byrd, to make Hollow Earthers look ridiculous. And it seems to have worked ... The 1947 Byrd "secret" flight has kept anyone from looking into what was really going on in 1947.

Any time that I have approached the question of this impossible flight and the lack of evidence supporting it, those diehard believers have pointed at the "Missing Diary of Admiral Byrd" as "proof" that he did indeed make such a flight. It is time we look closely at this so-called "document."

I had long known that there was a missing Admiral Byrd diary, but everything I had read said it was the diary of his 1926 polar flight, not the alleged '47 flight. Recently this lost 1926 diary was uncovered amongst the Admiral's papers at the Ohio State University. (See THEI Volume III #2.) Even the late Jimmy the Greek wouldn't have given you good odds on the possibility of there being two "lost" diaries. Thanks to Hollow earth artist, writer and researcher Max Fyfield, who sent me his original copy of this purported diary I was able to see the original evidence.

Having read almost everything that was ever published by The Admiral I knew as soon as I started the first page that this was not the writing of Admiral Byrd. Admiral Byrd, an educated man, wrote very eloquently. The cover of this diary, presented in mimeograph booklet form, contains the crest adopted by the German secret Thule Society – a swastika and a sword surrounded by oak leaves. As Walter Kafton-Minkel wrote in Subterranean Worlds:
"The diary itself, written in comic-book prose worthy of Michael X or Guy Ballard, describes Byrd's awe building as he draws nearer to the Pole. He looks down and sees vegetation instead of ice: There should be no green valley below! We should be over ice and snow! ... Our navigation instruments are still spinning, the gyroscope is oscillating back and forth..."
(Page 238)

The date indicated in this diary is "Feb. 19, 1947. How fortunate for Giannini, this substantiates his claim. Of course, this was the dead of winter. How was the crew able to see snow below? Or green fields for that matter.

Other passages should be noted.
(Page 3) "---Hours: Vast snow ice and snow below, note coloration of yellowish nature..."
(Page 4) "---Hours: In the distance is what appears to be mountains!"
There are those who would argue that he was seeing by the light of the inner Sun, yet...
(Page 5) "---I cannot see the sun anymore..."
How could he have seen the sun anyway? February is a period of total darkness!

I propose that the only reason that this diary was produced was to back up the claim of Giannini that such a flight happened. And we know the source of the diary!

Captain Tawani Wakawa Shoush and The Society for a Complete Earth

The alleged diary first became available from an organization based in rural Missouri, which called itself "The Society for a Complete Earth" in the 1970s. The head of this organization was a Native American, Captain Tawani Wakawa Shoush. As Walter Kafton-Minkel explains:
"The society used as it's emblem the crest of the Thule Society ... Shush said he was a retired U.S. Marine and a pilot whose goal was to fly a dirigible into one of the polar openings and establish contact with the Arianni, (his spelling) the "tall blond, blue-eyed super-race" that rules the inner world. The Arianni, he wrote, spoke "a language very much like German" and lived in "cities built of shimmering crystal" and used their saucers – again called flugelrads – to patrol the skies of the surface world and keep an eye on us ... Shoush sold copies of what he claimed was a suppressed diary kept by Admiral Byrd during his North Pole flight of 1947."
(Page 238)

When I first received the copy of this "diary" from Max Fyfield I wrote a report concerning the forward of the booklet which was written by a "Dr. William Bernard." (See THEI Vol. 1#6, "The Two Bernards," page 30).

In that article I accused Mr. Susch of being an opportunist out to make money and challenged him to prove me wrong. Although I had no proof, I felt strongly about it at that time. Those of us who are serious about these studies do not need false information seeded around. I feel even stronger about it now. And I believe that I now have the proof that this piece of trash is a phony.

The Proof

In 1928 Admiral Byrd published his account of the 1926 North polar flight in a book titled Skyward. On page 196 Byrd reveals the following information:
"When our calculations showed us to be about an hour from the Pole, I noticed through the cabin window a bad leak in the oil tank of the starboard motor. When I took the wheel again I kept my eyes glued on the oil leak and the oil pressure indicator."
Compare this information to the following passage from the so-called "secret diary."
(Page 2) "--- Hours: Slight oil leak in starboard engine, oil pressure indicator seems normal, however."
Once again, the odds of Admiral Byrd having the exact same problem with the same engine on two different flights 11 years apart would probably be about the same chance of you winning the next lottery. And it gets better, or worse, depending on your point of view. I mentioned my research into the diary to my friend, and colleague artist Robert Van Aulen and he responded by sending me a video copy of the 1937 MGM motion picture "Lost Horizon," drawing my attention to a scene where the star, Ronald Coleman has an audience with the Dali Lama in Shangra-La, a lost city in Tibet.

The Master tells him that there "is a dark time coming" but that:
"You, my son, (said the Master), "will live through the storm. You will preserve the fragrance of our history and add to it a touch of your own mind. Beyond that, my vision weakens ... but I see in the great distance a new world starting in the ruins ... But in hopefulness, seeking it's lost and legendary treasures, and they will all be here, my son, hidden behind the mountains under the blue moon, preserved as if by a miracle..."
Now, lets compare that with what, according to "The Secret Diary of Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd," was a meeting between The Admiral and the "Master" of the Arianni:
"Yes, my son," replied the Master, "the dark ages that will come for your race will cover the Earth like a pall, but I believe that some of your race will live through the storm, beyond that I cannot say. We see a great distance a new world stirring from the ruins of your race, seeking its lost and legendary treasures, and they will be here my son, safe in our keeping..."
It appears to me that the "Master" of the Arianni was either a great Ronald Coleman fan that spent his time watching old surface world movies or ... this is a blatant case of plagiarism. You decide.

As Editor of THEI I, like Ray Palmer am seeking the truth. And in our quest I believe we should not only shout out about anything positive we find, but also, just as loudly expose anything we find to be false. Therefore. Like Palmer, I am offering the pages of The Hollow Earth Insider.com to anyone who can offer proof that the 1947 North Polar flight ever happened or that this diary is authentic.

Navy Engineer: I Saw Ancient Ruins, Aliens, And Top-Secret Bases In Antarctica!

On January 2nd, 2015 the editor of website earthfiles.com received a very unexpected letter from an alleged retired U.S.  Navy Petty Officer First Class Flight Engineer.

The letter received recounts experiences where the anonymous Navy officer (refers to himself as "Brian") recounts his bizarre and extraordinary experiences flying cargo and rescue in Antarctica between the years 1983 to 1997. He claims that a collaboration between humans and aliens exist, and that the Antarctica is a major research ground for these incredible collaborations.

The version I have says THIS

FLIGHT LOG: BASE CAMP ARCTIC, 2/19/1947

0600 Hours- All preparations are complete for our flight northward and we are airborne with full fuel tanks at 0610 Hours.

0620 Hours- fuel mixture on starboard engine seems too rich, adjustment made and Pratt Whittneys are running smoothly.

0730 Hours- Radio Check with base camp. All is well and radio reception is normal. 0740 Hours- Note slight oil leak in starboard engine, oil pressure indicator seems normal, however.

0800 Hours- Slight turbulence noted from easterly direction at altitude of 2321 feet, correction to 1700 feet, no further turbulence, but tail wind increases, slight adjustment in throttle controls, aircraft performing very well now.

0815 Hours- Radio Check with base camp, situation normal.

0830 Hours- Turbulence encountered again, increase altitude to 2900 feet, smooth flight conditions again.

0910 Hours- Vast Ice and snow below, note coloration of yellowish nature, and disperse in a linear pattern. Altering course foe a better examination of this color pattern below, note reddish or purple color also. Circle this area two full turns and return to assigned compass heading. Position check made again to base camp, and relay information concerning colorations in the Ice and snow below. 0910 Hours- Both Magnetic and Gyro compasses beginning to gyrate and wobble, we are unable to hold our heading by instrumentation. Take bearing with Sun compass, yet all seems well. The controls are seemingly slow to respond and have sluggish quality, but there is no indication of Icing!

0915 Hours- In the distance is what appears to be mountains.

0949 Hours- 29 minutes elapsed flight time from the first sighting of the mountains, it is no illusion. They are mountains and consisting of a small range that I have never seen before!

0955 Hours- Altitude change to 2950 feet, encountering strong turbulence again. 1000 Hours- We are crossing over the small mountain range and still proceeding northward as best as can be ascertained. Beyond the mountain range is what appears to be a valley with a small river or stream running through the center portion. There should be no green valley below! Something is definitely wrong and abnormal here! We should be over Ice and Snow! To the portside are great forests growing on the mountain slopes. Our navigation Instruments are still spinning, the gyroscope is oscillating back and forth!

1005 Hours- I alter altitude to 1400 feet and execute a sharp left turn to better examine the valley below. It is green with either moss or a type of tight knit grass. The Light here seems different. I cannot see the Sun anymore. We make another left turn and we spot what seems to be a large animal of some kind below us. It appears to be an elephant! NO!!! It looks more like a mammoth! This is incredible! Yet, there it is! Decrease altitude to 1000 feet and take binoculars to better examine the animal. It is confirmed - it is definitely a mammoth-like animal! Report this to base camp.

picture of my vision of the plane passing through the time-space-dimension-door and suddenly a totally new landscape appear.....

1030 Hours- Encountering more rolling green hills now. The external temperature indicator reads 74 degrees Fahrenheit! Continuing on our heading now. Navigation instruments seem normal now. I am puzzled over their actions. Attempt to contact base camp. Radio is not functioning!

1130 Hours- Countryside below is more level and normal (if I may use that word). Ahead we spot what seems to be a city!!!! This is impossible! Aircraft seems light and oddly buoyant. The controls refuse to respond!! My GOD!!! Off our port and starboard wings are a strange type of aircraft. They are closing rapidly alongside! They are disc-shaped and have a radiant quality to them. They are close enough now to see the markings on them. It is a type of Swastika!!! This is fantastic. Where are we! What has happened. I tug at the controls again. They will not respond!!!! We are caught in an invisible vice grip of some type!

1135 Hours- Our radio crackles and a voice comes through in English with what perhaps is a slight Nordic or Germanic accent! The message is: 'Welcome, Admiral, to our domain. We shall land you in exactly seven minutes! Relax, Admiral, you are in good hands.' I note the engines of our plane have stopped running! The aircraft is under some strange control and is now turning itself. The controls are useless.

1140 Hours- Another radio message received. We begin the landing process now, and in moments the plane shudders slightly, and begins a descent as though caught in some great unseen elevator! The downward motion is negligible, and we touch down with only a slight jolt!

1145 Hours- I am making a hasty last entry in the flight log. Several men are approaching on foot toward our aircraft. They are tall with blond hair. In the distance is a large shimmering city pulsating with rainbow hues of color. I do not know what is going to happen now, but I see no signs of weapons on those approaching. I hear now a voice ordering me by name to open the cargo door. I comply. END LOG
