Golf, do you like it?

      Checking to see how many of us Pegasus members like to play golf.  1WorldWatcher and I use to play often at WGT = https://www.wgt.com/  Its free to play and relaxing.  I enjoy playing cyber golf because I can no longer play real golf. I have one good hand now and it's not my favored hand. lol  So this has kind of filled in the gap.  If there is any interest, say so here and we can set up our own club or just send invitations to play.   We can use P.M.s to set up games and/or exchange screen names for play.      (Like most sites you have to make a screen name.)

I never played golf and, as far as I know, know only one person that I know played some years ago, I don't know if he still plays or not. Although we have some good golf courses in Portugal golf is seen as an "elite thing" and ignored by the common people.

I registered on that site and played for some time, but I didn't like it.

I would probably like more the real version, as I like to walk, yesterday I walked 6 km after work.

   It's sort of the same here, kind of a rich persons game, lots of ritzy country clubs.  But there are public courses that aren't too terribly expensive too. Sorry you didn't enjoy WGT ArMap. 
   Some years ago I lost most of the use of my right hand (a botched carpel-tunnel surgery) and was unable to play golf, or do many of the things I use to do.   A while later I met 1WorldWatcher in a radio show chat room, he recruited me for Pegasus and asked me if I would like to play a game of golf. That's when he told me about cyber golf.  1WW and I played many rounds and had many hours of great laughs and cheers for and at each other.  I miss Bill much.  He was a good friend.  We most often Skyped while playing.
   Anyway its a fun way to relax and forget the troubles of the world for a bit.  Its fun even for many who have never tried golf and you can win prizes for a good score too.
   I like to walk also and take walks on the canal next to my house. It's very nice.

I used to play golf many years ago before working like a hebrew slave interfered with it; nowadays I have time but after the reconstructive surgery on my right shoulder and issues with both venal stasis and blood clots in both legs, golf isn't a feasible option 

when I get a break and get caught up on life I will check out WGT, and you might be interested in checking out google hangouts, it's a real time messenger and several of us here are active there

   Wow, I too had reconstructive surgery on my right shoulder back in 98.  I tried to still play some after the surgery but could only pitch and putt. lol  After the botched carpel tunnel surgery, which cost me my right wrist joint (Its now solid grafted bone no wrist joint motion at all.) that ended real golf totally. 
   If you get a chance and feel like a round of golf at WGT send me a P.M.     I check google I am already on there, just haven't used their messenger.

  You are such a funny guy Zog!    I use to play and I'm not rich nor have I ever been....lol      Also I'm not a politician.....lol  And WGT is free sooooooo....lol

I used to play but got annoyed as a lot of other players always wanted to power through and go ahead of me. I also felt foolish finding my ball in the bushes only to hit it and lose it again and again all the while being chewed alive by bugs. Used to play Links on PC many years ago but moved on to other games.
