National Park Mysteries

I just watched a TV program in the Uk called National Park Mysteries.

The episode I watched was about the Grand Canyon.

Has anyone seen it.... It is shown again in the UK on Freeview on Channel 63 Blaze about 11 PM



It showed two main stories...one that has been discussed on PRC a few times in the past and is probably known to most of the members.

Kincaid's cave

One about the suggested discovery in 1909  by two alleged Smithsonian-funded archaeologists, a Prof. S. A. Jordan and G.E. Kinkaid, who claimed to have found deep within the bowels of the earth in the Marble Canyon region of the Grand Canyon a vast cavern system with evidence of some ancient lost civilization

Then there was another story which I have never seen before..

in which I missed or was distracted from a small part of it to get the speciific details of the person involved.

But the basis of the story was that some explorer was taken to some secret location in the Grand Canyon by an Indian..
which he took to some secret place at the base of some overhanging cliffs.

and when they arrived the Indian told the explorer to place his hands on the rock face in front of him.
when he reached out to do so.... his hands disappeared into the rock.. in which he later followed thru with his whole
body..

It then showed him in some futureistic other location as if either far into the Future or as if they had gone thru to another civilisation . that showed an advanced city and many types of flying objects / cars etc.

No doubt it was VERY far fectched and probably made up..

but at the same time some of the things were interesting and thought provoking.

Ive tried to do a search for the program on video but I cannot as yet find a copy..and also I cannot find any ref to this story..

Unfortunatley I did not obtain the explorers name in detail... but I think it was something like Hans kranzman.

I will try to rewatch the program again tonight to note the details of it again.

The Video Ellirium113 posted seems it is something along the same type of similar thing or story  in terms of a portal to another World...

YES that is the one.... I am ammendning this in ref to what I said initially because I missed the 1st 3 mins and when I rewatch as I am now... It is the same opening...

Below is what I had said earlier....about 30 mins or so ago.. I say this now in case my time to re  ammend this post runs out...

I think this refers to some of his story and some other things that he has been involved in since..

Ive not as yet read it in any detail .

The title is very similar...and relates to one of images that I posted. as it uses the same specific description.

but when they created the TV program that I watched... they used the same picture BUT changed the wording slightly.

So the TV Program was titled "National Park Mysteries" rather than " Mysteries at the National Parks "

Upon on watching the opening of the video, it does seem a different program.

But the Videos that you have both posted also seem to have a similarity of mystery and interest, at least to me..

I am on a restricted sim at the moment so I have to be careful on how much content that I use when watching videos for the time being... But I will try to watch them in full when I can... but I can get some idea what it covers by skipping to different parts of the videos..

I hope to try to find out more later about the details of the person who I refer to in the program I watched earlier today when its repeated.

Im still not sure what to make also of the Kincade Cave story...

it suggested that a lot of the artifacts that was discovered were removed from the cave.

It also suggests that the Grand Canyon is quite well monitored...

but Ive seen suggestions that a large % of it is still unexplored ...probably because its very difficult terrain to explore..very hot at times and you need to travel a mile down to get to the lower areas.

Also it can be hard to land helicopters to get to certain areas.

but there could  be quite a lot of possibilities of other mysteries still awaiting to be discovered...
