ok  you were referring to the vid of the ?meteor?  i watched the vid and finally got the sound to work..have you ever heard the last sound when a hunting rifle  is discharged?..i don't know the correct word but there is a certain sound once the bullet has been discharged from the barrell
that same sound followed the shooting object in the vid..so it makes me think of a weapon being fired not a piece of space going sideways.
looking at the military in the area i am thinking somedummy had a mismanagement of some type of missle..but hey it's just a guess

as far as the mayans.. well i think they knew way more than we think they did and it would be really really cool to be able to do some time travel (safely - so i didn't have to stay) and talk to some of them

and i know all about not getting the answers you want..

oh and my last comment on it.. in the link you posted it shows the object coming from the right and it looks like it arced from the ground (launched?) and once it hits a certain spot it levels out and speeds up...yeah imo a misfired missile from one of the armorys listed
