I'd a been in deep yogurt if I had one of those.  I was SOOOO bored at school, drifting off as the teacher went over and over and over things that I caught the first time through.  I would look up and realize We had finally moved on, and then struggle a bit figuring out where We had moved to.  Yeah.  School.  It was hell as it was without bracelets!

I thought that was what "tests" and report cards were for!

What if a student is not "paying attention", is the next step to put him or her in "timeout", jail, or just ejected from class??

Or, are the parents of a child, caught not paying attention, to be held responsible in some way, maybe a fine, or incarceration, or maybe the child is taken from the parents and put into foster care of the government!!!!!!!??????????

What exactly is Gate's thinking, and objective??

Next thing you know, Mr. Gates will be calling for
brain implants. Its past time we cut this agenda
out. Maybe its time to switch to Linux.

yeah give the guy a few bucks (hehe) and tell him he's super smart, and next thing ya know, he wants to think for everybody else. lol

to be fair, we don't know how much of that is accurately reported.  it does seem to be the trend though, that in addition to pretending they're the only ones with brains, they also seem to think we need to be carbon copies of them. so they can see themselves everywhere.  it's......odd.

Well, if they can track us, they control us....and as they control us,
they will want to think for us. It must be a miserable life...all that
money they have and they have eyes for us!

;D ;D ;D

That same monitor proposed by Gates, probably could also be put on a dog, for tracking when and how many times a day the dog "licked his privates".

Now, doesn't that make about the same amount of sense, as does his first suggestion?

I would guess that if we wanted to, we could make this a monster thread, by helping Mr. Gates to know all of the ways such a device might be used, besides it being put locally where the sun doesn't shine!!  ;D 8)

Exactly, rdunk! Just what is the agenda here?
Mabye they would send in the drones!

Or, they will fine the parents, as you said. Then when all goes
to ehll...they can confiscate the house too, and make all of the
family slaves in the prison system!

Even they may not really know what the "agenda is". the U.S. educational system, with the Federal government so "negatively" involved, has been such a disaster, a lot of people are probably just fishing for the real problem(s).

It is as if Bill Gates is telling us he thinks school kids not paying attention is the problem. DUH! Is there anyone with less than 1 billion dollars that actually thinks that is "the real problem"?? There are at least 4011 reasons for our less than exemplary educational system, and all by 11 of them are related in some way with the disrupting interventions by the Federal government. The highest level of government intervention into schooling should be at the State level, drilling down to the local school levels.

The Federal Department of Education is just one of the vast government institutions that needs to be eliminated!

The 2013 DOE Discretionary Appropriations budget totals $69.8 billion, plus all of the other stuff, and what it is being spent for is a buffet of extraordinary stuff, much of it money laundering nonsense.

Just reading a little of this just about blows my mind. It really is a shame that we have allowed our government to get to the point where it spends our tax money as if it were dirt - which may be where our money is headed anyway!

Just FYI, here is a link to the DOE budget data, which is 77 pages long.

The second link is a summary  that is much easier to understand at a glance. Just crazy!
