There is absolutely no performance basis to say that about Obama. Not one thing has Obama done to present a capability to work directly with anybody on a professional level, except to "bow to all other heads of states". Maybe it is his bowing that gets him credit from those who have no real idea who this man is.

For sure, his actions taken, while in the office of President, portray those of someone who is "alien" to the United States in just about every way. He seems to not have a clue, about what it really means to be an American! And violating the Constitution is just one of thos things.

So, I guess i would vote him to be the #1 alien in this country, but I certainly would not have him in any way representing this country with communications with real "not from this world" aliens.

Fr the most part, Obama has failed, for the United States, in his communications with other countries and peoples of this world (except maybe the muslims), so just why would such a large percentage say otherwise?????

?????- I strongly question the voracity of aforesaid results on the basis of the above!! :))

this is funny...

i had to know who did such a pole and how many were poled..only got half that info

from your link at

"We wanted the pulse on people's opinions," said Brad Dancer, senior vice president of research and digital media for National Geographic, who conducted the survey for the new series "Chasing UFOs." "We wanted to get a sense of how Americans view UFOs, what people believe and how mainstream pop culture may or may not be playing into their opinions on it."

Nearly 65 percent of respondents said Obama would be better suited to handle a theoretical alien invasion than Romney

....

During a May visit to the White House by the actor Will Smith and his family, Obama was quizzed by Smith's 13-year-old son, Jaden, about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. In an interview with the BBC, Smith recounted Obama's reaction to his son:

"OK, I can neither confirm or deny the existence of extraterrestrials," Obama reportedly said from the White House Situation Room. "But I can tell you if there had been a top secret meeting, and if there would have been a discussion about it, it would have taken place in this room."
..

hopefully this reassures the general public...lol   ;D

Finally.

Differs from the president who couldn't even make the move to get helicopters to drop necessary food and help to those at the stadium after Katrina.

He had to wait for the proper clearances? WHAT????? You mean the President of the United States can't pick up a phone and say.... Get it done..NOW.. to WHOMEVER at the other end of the line?/?

I am not a political person so I won't engage in the coming debate other than to say that I back Obama one hundred percent!  I trust him to do the right thing for all of us.... and if the "you know what" hits the fan regarding any alien encounter.... He will be right there to take on his rightful responsibility, And according to this poll????? 65% of us think the same.

Some will scoff and say...."Oh yeah right.... like we are ever going to have to worry about it!" but all I can say is.... If it happened tomorrow.... and it MIGHT. what then?

Remember the song....." Its the end of the world as we know it!"  Thats the working phrase...." As we know it".....

Well, Linda, You and I differ on this.  I trust neither the puppet on the right hand nor the puppet on the left hand of the hidden beast that is behind such things as the "Patriot" Act, the TSA, the NSA, the DHS, the NDAA, FEMA, executive orders to allow conscription into slavery and control of all assets, and so on.

I back neither of the puppets on the stage, set to enthrall Us, to give the illusion that We only have two choices, to divide Us so as to conquer Us.  If and when the "aliens" come forth, it will not matter which puppet is "in power," the beast will be writing the lines.
