Seeding Gift Culture

This is a multi-part talk given by a man named Charles Eisenstein, who has worked for several years now, to introduce people to the idea of Gift Culture.  I'd encourage Amaterasu and everyone else who is interested, to watch this.

I'm just watching the second part of this series now.  I think the overall talk was about two hours long, but it was split up into 12  pieces of about ten minutes each.



I'd really like to again encourage anyone here who is willing, to watch this.  Charles walks us through a lot of the fundamental, underlying assumptions which collectively make up scarcity or zero sum thinking, and then offers some healthier alternatives to our current way of thinking.  I think this could really clarify a lot of the thinking behind the Abundance Paradigm in people's minds, which Amy and I perhaps find difficult to put into words.  Charles has a real gift for articulating that.

I have to stop right here...  Loving it so far, but what Charles is failing to see here is that it was because meaningful energy was needed to produce the food that Humans were used to "git 'er done." 

So adding free energy - to be used in meaningful ways - and robots as well eliminates this tug of...war...and the energy accounting system that built around it - currency, whether it was barter, trade, work exchange, beads, shells, bullets, smokes, You name it.  I'll just call it "money."

Money...  The soil in which evil grows:  remove the need for money and the LOVE OF MONEY cannot grow.

And He does not have the awareness that the solution IS AT HAND.  It's not that We're doing that because it's a part of Us...  It is because of the yoke that the scarcity of meaningful energy production has put upon Us.  Take that away and Humans, as well as Humanity, will shine.

Having watched the whole 14, what I take away is that I see validity in everything He says, but where I deviate is where it is not a material solution as well.  There IS the wherewithal to make MUCH better choices, in 3D+t.  I can see a melding of Attention as Gift very seamlessly with The Abundance Paradigm.  In fact, most ideologies - life approaches - are accommodated in TAP.

It is a paradigm shift that riches must be earned or inherited for One to "deserve" them to one where the richness of the intent behind an awareness is what gives returns -  in the form of positive attention.  I used "Paradigm" for the very reason that it IS just that.

Oh, when I took that short trip into just existing...  I readily went where I knew I would - to Being the universe in infinite expanse, yet still dimensionless - a "singularity" experiencing all the tales of Life/Consciousness throughout infinity, seeing each story plot develop and seeing Myself therefore a Creator amongst co-Creators, creating the Now...in this development...in the universe.
