snake fight

well I was trying to get a closeup of of this lovely colorful tree




so I was down by the barn looking up and for whatever reason I looked down
and thought I was seeing a snake shed it's skin.. the tail on the end of the black snake was shakin
and I went .. what..and looked closer
and wow I thought it was one snake swallowing another..
I snapped this shot real quick and ran to the house for hubby
I had never seen this







we got back down and the snake was rolling around




then we realized that each snake had a hold on the other
so hubby tried to separate them




and he did



and I blew the last shot...sigh





so they each were put in different directions and I'm sure they will be fine
but it makes me happy to know they are there..makes for a good system to see young anything
it was a gardener asnake nd a black snake
the black snake had a few inches on the gardener snake

so on the way back to the house there was a squirrel in the ash tree just barking his head off...
sooooooooooo of course I tried for that shot..got one good one




this one I liked




and there he goes





mokie cat was totally unimpressed..lol




and the steelers finally won.. so it was a good day
even if the pumpkin cookies were very bland..
