Saturn as you've never seen it before.

Some unusual & impressive photos of Saturn and some of its moons.

NASA's Cassini probe has captured some fantastic images over the years. But these close-ups of Saturn and its moons are some of the best, including shots of Titan - the only other body in the solar system to have liquid on its surface - and Enceladus, which appears to us like a giant snowball. Cassini is a joint project between NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian

I went out and grabbed the Hex. I don't know if you can see it by eye very well but there is a huge wall front where it changes colors. That wall has to be many miles tall to show up like it did. The most inner hex is also sunk but not as much. Enjoy.

Deuem loves sunlight....Hello NASA, do you catch that?

Amazing flows in your analysis, Deuem. Saturn's atmosphere is violent.

Nice Images Deuem,

Without a doubt, those images that you created are certainly as we have never seen Saturn before !  :)

It is amazing what they reveal hidden in its depth !..

Thank you..

This photo is an OMG moment for me also. I never expected to see such violence in the area. The storm is tossing up a solid wall on the diameter, rises up in the center and back down at the pole. I will be told by some one that they can see it in the original photo. Yea!ok.

Astro, I really do wonder if NASA has seen this yet. Any NASA lurkers here today? This is the best of Deuem 2014 so far. I bet that wall is over 100 miles high. To see it in real life must be out of this world. lol
