Witness Says Bigfoot Might Be Squatting In Detroit's Abandoned Houses

You're a nice family driving through the outskirts of Detroit, shopping for a new house. What you don't expect to see on your real estate tour: a "strange, ape-like creature" climbing out of the window of an abandoned home.

that he, his wife and two children spent three hours in the car last Thursday, searching for a new neighborhood to move to in Detroit. Not finding anything suitable, they decided to turn around and head home. Passing by a two-story blue home with broken windows, Brown's wife saw something moving inside. They slowed the vehicle to get a better look.

"We see this hairy arm reaching out the window. I say what the hell, he gonna get cut that dude with the broken glass, man. Then a whole body coming out the window, looked like a monkey, only big damn monkey with a stick on the hand. Maybe about 7-ft tall. It had short, reddish hair. But hold on, the face was human looking, as crazy as it sounds. My wife kept telling me to drive away, so we did. I got to see the animal's eyes and all, big and dark, with a huge head, like a triangle shape, kinda, know what I mean?"


The mythical creature referred to as Bigfoot or, alternatively, Sasquatch and Yeti, has a history of being spotted in Michigan -- although sightings of the man-sized animal are rare. The state's much less populated Upper Peninsula has been the location for two recent televised Bigfoot scoutings. On Spike TV's "10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty: 36 Hours Of Hell,"

which aired last week, two teams staged a 36-hour hunt for the mythical creature in the wilderness near Lake Superior, armed with a baby doll soaked in cow's blood (strange that didn't work out.)

In  January Animal Planet interviewed people who claim to have spotted the bear-sized animal in cities across the upper peninsula.

Shape shifter, yes.

But in Detroit. Ya, shape shifters can be found everywhere.

I do wonder what the family was doing in a run down neighborhood when they was suppose to be looking for a clean upscale neighborhood to live. Michigan is infested with the shape shifter dogman. So is southern Wisconsin and the U.P. which is the upper peninsula of Michigan north of the Wisconsin border.

There was a rather 2007 convincing video of a creature on all fours chasing a guy videoing the thing. The film was known as the gable film. I looked at it and immediately said this is a guy on all fours. I figured that out by how the rear end of the guy in the suit was arching his back as it moved forward. Turned out to be a guy in a ghillie suit.

The Gable films were made by amateur video buff Mike Agrusa as a sort of homage to the cryptid known as the Michigan Dogman. Agrusa added wire coat hanger "ears" as you can see in his intentionally grainy still at left, and was at least smart enough not to step onto a busy highway as he was filmed.

He confessed his part in the ruse on national television in the season four finale of History Channel's Monsterquest . I (not gigas) was part of that show's interview team and witnessed a re-creation of Agrusa's performance. The ghillie suit was not convincing in person, and was effective in the video mostly due to the poor quality of the vintage  film Agrusa used in order to make everything in the 2007 vid look as if it dated from the 1970s.

Northwest of Detroit 1965.

I was 13 living in green bay wisconsin when this was all over the tv, papers and national news. Across the lake michigan waters was Monroe Michigan and a story came out of there so terrifying that the news reporting stations couldn't get enough of.

A girl had her head smashed on the car door as she tried to escape from a big black dog like creature that ran along side her car as she was driving.

AUGUST 13, 1965, MONROE, MICHIGAN, USA, CHRISTINE VAN ACKER AND RUTH OWENS BLACK attacked by a large black thing.

The two claimed a black thing was on the side of the road as they drove by and bumped it. It than ran after them and reached in the open car window grabbing christine by the hair and slammed her head numerous times onto the open windows door.

Not long after ths report and before it faded away on the news another incident broke out on all the local news channels of a bigfoot walking the shores of two rivers just sought of green bay.

Then in 1968 another bigfoot incident not far from green bay occured in fremont wiscosnins deltox marsh where hunters came across a bigfoot. 2008 I drove the 35 miles over there with my doberman to see this location. Never saw any bigfoot and the terrain looked ordinary. I did let my dog out to pee though and he acted just fine.

Bigfoot tracks seen from a road in Wisconsin. Notice the line of deer tracks on the left, and the line of bigfoot tracks on the right. Notice the long stride. The bigfoot leaped over the fence, with an even longer stride, possibly following the deer tracks.

To bad no closeups.
But I think you can determine easily the difference between human tracks and deer tracks. And the difference between "unknown" tracks and jumping deer tracks.

Notice the deer tracks till they come up to the fence and the deer takes a leap just before another leap over the fence and leaps again when over and resumes its casual stride. Bigfoot obviously was tracking this unsuspecting dinner with an 8 foot stride.
