Saturn might have just birthed a new icy moon ... or is Dr. Bergrun correct?

According to stories posted on Yahoo and Dvice.com, NASA announced that Saturn may be birthing a new moon. While looking at the picture I am reminded of The Ringmakers of Saturn and wonder if Dr. Bergrun has been correct all along. I saw that yesterday and remember the same thing, but I don't think Dr. Bergrun is correct, I think he is completely wrong.
