I have never experienced hearing a low frequency hum anywhere.  I am more susceptible to high frequency.  The map shown at the beginning of the video shows some of the locations.  Is it from highly industrial societies or are there other sources.  Thoughts?

I can hear it every so often here in Scotland. Used to wonder what it was when I first heard it. Thought maybe it was coming from phone lines than run near my house. But the sound was coming from somewhere else . It would start and last for a few hours and then stop. Did this a few nights a week when it first started. Don't hear it as often now. Some times it sounds like its coming from one direction. Then another the next time.

Very weird.
