$5,000 IS THE OLD LIMIT

5K used to be the 'limit' years ago  for a single cash withdrawal... today it's 10,000

$10,000 is the amount you can gift someone like a friend or family member and the bank is not required to report it

It was raised because of the buying power today  $5,000 in the 70's is about $10K today

Withdrawing large sums of cash from a bank requires them TIME to get the cash. This has always been the case. You can transfer it no problem electronically

So this is nothing new... no conspiracy.  The banks have always been obligated to report cash withdrawals or large transfers (before above 5K  today above 10K)  so no conspiracy here.

As a side note  Ebay Etsy and Amazon  etc are not required to report your earnings UNTIL you make more than $20,000  annually.  So effectively if you were selling on the three sites you could earn just below 60K a year and never have it reported

Recently I had to go through Nevada Welfare office to get the Nevada Obama Care. It is income based. I asked them if online sales count and they said No, we don't care about that

That speech gave me the feeling that he was a respectable  and credible person. But it was in 2001 and today, I see in him only a shadow of what I believed him to be.

Nowadays, A.J. seems to live of mere political sensationalism, which for my taste, is kind of sad .
